Emmy worth episode |
Lead | |

The scenes with Jerry and his wife pulled my heartstring and I think anyone else in America with a soul. If that is not enough, all the drama with Dan
betraying Ollie and Michelle while at the same time pissing off his own allies was incredibly suspenseful. If Grodner has any sense about her she would submit
this episode in Spring 2009 to Emmy voters.

I cried because Jerry hasn't died yet.

I can't understand Jerry when he talks, it sounds like he's had strep throat for 80 years and swallowed some sandpaper, I would have been touched more
if Keesha got a phonecall from her dog.

The problem with this episode is it didn't show the aftermath of the Veto Ceremony. The storyline was building up to all that fighting as the climax --
the climax wasn't Dan nominated Michelle. That he intended to do that was pretty clear from the beginning of the show.

I completely dislike Jerry, he's hypocritical and too pompous. However, it still broke my heart to see his call with his wife.

JERRY AND HIS WIFE HAVE VERY SOOTHING VOICES. I WANT THEM TO READ THE NEWSPAPER TO ME EVERY MORNING RIGHT AFTER I WAKE UP.

Jerry's phone call was sad. His wife doesn't look very good. I didn't think Dan's POV meeting played out as well and I thought it would. It
made him look like a drama queen.

And, somehow, she still manages to look 30 years younger than he does.

sorry, I couldn't feel any empathy for the asswipe. He shouldn't have left his old, sick wife in the first place to play a game.

My grandfather died from Parkinsons in the early 70's. We cared for him at home and there were times when I'd have to hand feed him meals like you do
with a child. It was humiliating for him and with years they are coming out with better medications but still no cure. So if you can give to charities this is
one to give to.
