OK, let's check in. I was mostly away from the feeds yesterday and have watched them today while I caught up on 132 pages in the feed discussion thread (you wordy fucks). This is what I have learned:
Food Competition, it almost went as I was joking about in the previous recrap. It was teams, and it was Memphis, Renny, Ollie and Pervy on the losing team. So with Renny being HOH and Memphis exercising his slop pass, only Ollie and Pervy are on slop. Pervy is not too happy about it, but he is manning up. He looks very sad today. No one is talking to him. So I guess he gets the treatment he used to implore the others to dish out when peeps were on the block. I think he thinks he is getting voted out.
POV competition. It was apparently the "guess how many" where you had to guess and those who guessed, the one most off is eliminated. However, you could opt to "not guess". Seems to me, it would be smartest to "not guess" each time and then just go "all in" on the last guess when only one other is standing. I will have to watch this on Tuesdsay's show to see if it was what I remembered from last season. Dan won this veto.
Renny is having strange conversations with peeps in the house. No one at sucks can agree what her agenda is, whether she is smart strategically or just crazy. The only thing I have noticed consistently is that keesha has a conversation with someone, then revises history when she repeats that conversation to another person. For instance, she had a "leading" conversation with Michelle in the backyard today which even had me convinced when I was listening to her, that it might be a bad idea to boot April because she thinks the guys might start to pick the girls off (Keesha, they do, watch your BB shows in the past). Then she repeats that conversation to Renny up in the HOH and made it sound like MICHELLE came up with that conclusion and it was MICHELLE that was openly gaming to get out pervy and keep April because it was a guys versus girls thing. Renny is all ears. They agree that Michelle is shady and has to go next. It almost sounded like Keesha was advocating having Renny ask Dan to use the veto and pull someone off and backdoor Michelle.
Keesha then tells Dan that she thinks renny is all over the place before she sends Dan up there to talk to Renny, because Renny has asked Keesha to send him up. So she sows seeds of doubt in Dan about Renny.
Renny asked Dan what he thinks about the game. He asks her if she cut a deal with Ollie, she denies it and just said she likes Ollie. (WTF?). Then Dan said he was going to run scenarios by her. He asked her what she would do IF he would pull Pervy off, who would she put up? I forgot her answer, I think she dodged it. Mostly that conversation was "for production" according to Dan, the DR wanted him to wear the POV when he was up there. It was one of the strangest conversations ever done in the HOH, and the lamest regarding strategy because they were both talking out of their ass. As soon as Dan left and went outside, Renny went to the HOH balconey and told Keesha she "didn't trust him" and promptly found herself locked out of the HOH
When Keesha and Renny were talking earlier in the HOH, Renny kept bringing up that she didn't trust Memphis and he won't take either one of them to the end because "they are too well liked". I get the impression that Renny would like to back door him (even though she doesn't understand how that works) but she does understand that she won't get Dan to use the POV to expose Memphis. Also, she knows even if he did, she doesn't have the votes to get him out the way she made her nominations.
This was the wrong week to win HOH if someone wanted to make a power play. You have someone completely off the hook in the house and very unpredictable, thus unreliable as an alliance mate - Pervy. He just can't keep his mouth shut and he plays emotionally. He is a dumbass. Not to mention, no one likes him, in the house or on the fansite boards. You have a strong couple showmance (or HOmance) in the house that needs to be dealt with. So even if someone was a good BB player and was HOH this week, I don't think it is possible under any scenario to target Memphis, who NEEDS to be targeted, otherwise, just write this guy's name on the check.
Renny hasn't had a relationship prior to this week with Michelle. She betrayed April during April's HOH. She doesn't trust Dan, she KNOWS she doesn't trust Memphis, and Keesha is a little cunt who wants to have a male harem fawning all over her, thus Renny is just not a priority for Keesha. Ollie just wants to get laid. So what are her options? How can she get to the end?
Frankly, If I was her, in her situation, I would have used OLLIE to put the word to April, before nominations, that I would spare her on the block if they would PROMISE to vote out Memphis, and I would get Jerry to make the same promise. Not only to vote him out but also to get immunity in their next HOH's, for the next couple of weeks. That would leave April and Keesha in the game to battle it out. It also cuts off Keesha's other lifeline. So then nominate Dan and Memphis. However, the flaw to this plan is the veto. The HOH runs out of votes to get out Memphis if Dan or Memphis wins the veto, unless she puts up keesha as a replacement, which would be ridiculous. That whole move alone (the nominations and the replacement veto) would cost the HOH the game even if she made it to the end, beause she would piss off 4 votes in one week.
If we are giving Renny credit for brains, she ran this scenario out in her brain and probably decided it was way too risky, because of the POV. Thus, we get the very lame nominations we have, with April being the target. She is an HOH endurance threat, but that is it.
So, if you have a life, go live your life, you can come back during the live show on Thursday when April is voted out and we can watch the next HOH competition.
I just might do that. Just in case you noticed, yes, you are right, I have no favorites left in the house, they all left early. I don't give a shit anymore. I will just watch with interest to see if Michelle finds a way to get to the end, in spite of her annoying babytalk to the cameras. That shit can stop right now.
peace out.
