Last season they showed a clip of that happening during the tapings so it was no big deal. I'm really shocked that one of the best designers up to this pint got booted before no-talent Daniel.

Blayne's outfit looks almost exactly what I wore to go flea market shopping the other weekend. It's cute, but not exactly a work look, unless you work in a VERY casual environment. I think they made it clear that this wasn't the case. IMO, Kenley is a cunt because of that outburst on the runway. For a second I also thought it might have been editing, but I don't think so because of Daniel's reaction: "what's funny <bitch>?". Plus, she said during one of those confessional thingies that Daniel talks about having impeccable taste, but she doesn't see it. This is all well and good, but I thought it was supremely cunty of her considering the fact that they have been all BFF, that's all. Jerrell's outfit on the runway (the one he was wearing) was craziness. Talk about a "woman with no mirror". That picture of Suede up there...he looks oddly like Gary Oldman, no? Or am I crazy?

Blayne's model is stick thin and those horrid Bermuda shorts have her looking like she's all hippy and wide. Nasty. Brooke had mentioned how she needs to balance out her hips with her shoulders, 'cuz she got dem hips. Blayne does = fail. Kenley is too young and immature to be a cunt - she's just a brat. Nice find with the Brushy Brushy. Jerella's dress should have won - that "fringes; they're kind of my speciality" [puke] dress was nice on top, clever with the sleeves 'n all, but the skirt was just bad. Yeah, sittin' at a desk all day and then going to the club at night with a bunch of crumpled, wrinkled "fringies" all over your ass. Good plan. Joe probably didn't say Boo to Korto about the Sweet Potato because 1) the judges have been loving her voluminous crap and 2) he didn't want to spark the Kerrriganesque "WHY ME?" whining she tends to fall into. All that being said, once they shortened and toned down the Sweet Potato - their outfit fit the Lipstick Wendy bill rather well. Something was fucked up with the front of that dress, though. What did Suede do? I can't even remember now.

Yes, Kelli's was a little too hootchie but it was sort of within the guidelines. Blayne designed an outfit for a day at the mall. And Daniel needs to go. He just plain sucks with his mediocre crap and his hangdog look. Kenley had every right to laugh at him saying he had impeccable taste. Of course doing it so openly while saying they were friends was kind of tacky.

That picture is probably a poor example, but he looks like a fatter, gayer Will Arnett to me. Why is nobody talking about Kunto playing the immunity card in front of Tim? I thought that was worse than Kenley's laughing. She was probably laughing at Kelli and her design and was laughing because she laughs at everything Daniel says (remember last week?). It's like, automatic for her.

Joe knew Korto had immunity, so if their design really really sucked he would go. So it was in his best interest to make his point of view known to her, so at least he could say that if challenged by the judges. Instead he didnt say a word until Tim showed up and the top was pretty much made already. I'd have said the same thing to him.

I knew they wouldnt get rid of him-- this is what I love about the judging, the producers have input- it says so- and will usually (not always) keep an entertaining nutjob over a boring designer when it comes down to it. This is why we still have Blayne- The judges had to see it was worse or equally bad but the producers said No not Yet, we need to see him melt down when his tan fades.

Blayne has yet to design anything to meet the challenges specs and yet he remains.. the Olympic outfit anyone.. teal? Is that the colors of America? I think not? Nothing this dude does is remotely interesting or at least provocative... its just Gap gone bad. See you at Hotwire Blayne.. I like mine extra hot!

The pics on the Bravo site are VERY different than what I saw on TV, (Keith's dress actually looks closer to Black, while on TV it looked like a giant turd.)

Brooke thought her character would wear shorts like that and he made shorts like that. The fact that the rest of us could not conceive of it is beyond the point. What was the likelihood that ANY shorts outfit would be acceptable to us? But Brooke wanted that. And she got it just as described and sketched. If they cut Blayne for creating a design that his client asked for, I would be up in arms about it.

(He lost.) In the judges' room, Jesse Archer (Out columnist and A Four Letter Word star/writer) was posing on the lap of Jack Mackenroth (the HIV guy from Project Runway), who blurted: "As if I'm a top! Look at me-my legs are crossed!" Apparently his fingers were, too. Mackenroth told me he wants to come back to TV, but not in Top Chef-or even Bottom Chef. He's pitching a design show "with the straight guy from season four of Project Runway." Joe should've thanked her for bringing him back to reality. I thought it would be a major plot for the episode once Brooke selected her as a leader because whoever her partner was would be in a bad position from a creative and elimination standpoint. Haven't we seen enough episodes of PROJECT RUNWAY/TOP CHEF episodes to know that's exactly what the judges would've said to Joe if they'd ended up in the bottom?

Jerrell's was a very nice-looking outfit, but I don't think it met the challenge. It didn't like office-wear for a studio head AT ALL. Of course, neither did the winning outfit. Executives in this industry don't wear dresses or skirts to the office. They wear pants. In fact, the outfit Korto turned in for the Olympic challenge with a couple of tweaks would have been perfect here. Those pants are right up the alley of what fashionable women in show-business wear.
