Some do. Some don't. I don't sign images because that's not the point for me. I chop to ridicule the crap out of HG's that annoy me, not to show the world what I can do. If someone else gets a chuckle out of it so much the better.

I don't care if others do. It's their work after all. But I do think it kind of misses the whole point of chopping when there is a huge sig which detracts from the work itself.

I appreciate your response and I can appreciate your sentiments. The above 'watermark' was a joke. When I do include my name on the chop it is usually in a corner at a reduced size. I am not crazy about someone taking credit for a chop I did. But that is not why I've done it in the past. I've chopped for years on a sports related board under a different name. One that doesn't allow images (just links) on threads. And chopping was a significant part of my board identity. So it was an identifier on the chop. But as I said I mostly forgot to add my name. And its not like anyone knows who the hell PTP is.

I may start doing larger credits just to piss off some of the tight asses. I would also like to thank BZ for a reasonable response. And I apologize you took an attack for it.

For the record, all chops by nature come from the work of others. So I could care less if someone co-opts a chop and furthers it. And in the end, I agree its all for laughs.

Relax Paxil. I wasn't criticizing you at all. Lots of other people were sharing opinions as was I. I wasn't critical of anyone. I replied to you just because that was the post I was reading when I decided to reply on the topic. Nothing more.

I've never once criticized anyone's opinion on chopping here. So continue to chop away and have fun. That's what it's about.
