I wonder if the CTV website would provide press release updates on Craig's career.

Could this be another Canadian Idol first? A former contestant using Idol as a platform to get in to porn?Probably, but everyone else you've mentioned has been somewhat successful at whatever they are doing. Craig is just a wannabe pornstar (pretty pathetic). |

I love that they're pretending he doesn't exist. Even Jaydee who we have all heard the people at CI hated was invited back to sing because he's
actually doing something relavent musically. Craig's CD was horrid and all he's doing is making himself look worse and worse with every blog and
picture he releases on myspace.

I would think Craig will sell more gay porn vids than CD's. Someone let me know when the first one is in the stores.

Judging by his desperation, I have a feeling he'll just have free live streaming soon from his bedroom.

Amberly singing the most predictable songs every week <33333. I love her for it though, she sticks to what she knows.
My rankings for the night 1.Mitch - Awesome, as soon as I get done with this i'm going to download that song. This is why Mitch deserves to still be there, his choice in music is impeccable. And he stole the show tonight, he should have gotten the pimp spot. 2.Mookie - I was totally confused by the whole thing, but it was fresh, hip and different...he's becoming a front runner. 3.Amberly - So c00t. I just want to eat her up <3 4.Theo - Much better than Carly Rae's version last season. And much better than last week for him...I still want him to go tomorrow though. 5.Drew - God awful at the start but the end of the song was mesmorizing and gave me chills. I doubt he has anything to worry about, he won't even be in the bottom 3. 6.Earl - Disaster, I have no idea how he got so much praise. I think it might be the end of the line for good ol boy Earl tomorrow. |

I knew I was expecting too much when I was hoping for all 6 to bring the rock.
Rankings: 1. Mookie - Thank god for this guy. He saved the night from being right down there with David Bowie week. Awesome performance. I'm beginning to think this guy should win. 2. Earl - Only Earl could make me like a Tragically Hip song. SHC must have gone into fangirl overdrive with this one. 3. Theo - Well that was much more enjoyable than previous performances involving the piano. - gap - 4. Drew - I hated the song choice, and his voice is too high to pull off a convincing rock performance, but I enjoyed all the guitars. 5. Amberly - That was about as predictable a performance as you'll ever see. Feist is rock? Fuck that. - Grand Canyon sized gap - 6. Mitch - Ok, Feist is certainly not rock, but Mitch's performance was REALLY not rock. And has Mitch EVER performed without the guitar? Jesus fucking christ, and I thought Amberly and Theo were monotonous. Go home please. |

The only change I would make in your assessment Louie, is to place Mookie first. I loved his performance. I really liked Mitch's performance, it was the
first time in a long while that I enjoyed him. Theo was awesome as usual.

The theme wasn't Canadian Rock btw, it was Canada Rocks which equaled Canadian Hits.
Also as I suspected the Top 6 have better taste in music than smartguy, no shitty Nickelback songs to be heard. Mitch was actually very good. He sang an indie song so I'm sure that appeased louie. Everyone but Drew was good imo. The band was far too loud on Drew's performance and you couldn't really understand him. Mookie got the pimp spot, I figured either him or Amberly would get it. Amberly and Theo were first and second respectively. Amberly sang "1234," it was good but her outfit was beyond hideous. She looked like the princess of darkness, Zack called her Elvira, lol. Theo sang "Sweet Ones," same song Carly Rae sang last year during the semis. It was really good, I really think he's going to win. Mitch sang a Joel Plaskett song called "I Love This Town." His singing was excellent and it was a great song choice. Earl sang "Little Bones" by The Tragically Hip. I love the Hip so I loved that Earl picked one of their songs. He was great. Jake used to manage the Hip and he loved it too. As I mentioned Drew was the worst. The band was too loud and it just was hard to listen to and not entertaining. Mookie got the pimp spot and brought down the fucking house. He's a rockstar of epic proportions. He sang Steppenwolff, "Magic Carpet Ride" (remember hippie girl Alyssa) and it rocked. |

LOL @ Amberly singing Feist.
She should've sung "Gatekeeper" or the slightly upbeat "Mushaboom". But "1234" is ok too but a tad bit overplayed. |

I thought it was Canadian rock week too smartguy. Then I heard a few of the song choices and Ben said something about when Canada rocks week continues and I
got that it was just Canadian music.
Amberly is definitely fighting an uphill battle tonight. I'm voting 2 hours solid. I'm just hoping we can lose Drew tonight. He's never been in the B3 and it's Top 6 so it's the perfect time for his fans to get complacent, he got sort of middle of the road commentary, wasn't that good. He did go late in the line up but that might lead more casual fans of his to vote for other favourites they feel are in more danger. This might just be me hoping against hope though. |
