I was in Worcester last night with you Dagny! I was in 110, row E. I can't believe I was 20 feet from all of them.
I agree with most of what you said, however I will add my input. Chikezie- really good, surprised he didn't make it farther Ramiele- kinda boring, but super adorable Michael Johns- raped my ears. I HATED his set. His voice was horrible and people only like him because he's "attractive". I found him bland and agreed he got kicked off at an appropriate time. Kristy- AMAZING. She is SO SKINNY in person. She did really well and will probably have a big career in country if Pickler can. Carly- Eh. She seemed super pitchy to me and I wanted her off stage. Brooke- She was beautiful and enjoyable Castro- Eh. Hated him on the show, he really did nothing to change that. Syesha- I LOVED her. She was phenomenal to me. She DAMN, her legs are amazing. Archu-D2- Was incredibly pitchy and the screaming tweentards made me violent. Cookie- AMAZING <3333 When he came back for Billie Jean I orgasmed. Corey, that host guy, was hot. But I hated him and the fucking Poptarts things and the people going out of their way to get a poptarts shirt. Also, I got accosted by some guy on the street, because when I saw all the fat women and tweentards on the street pre-concert I said "Oh, it's like a virtual smorgasboard of who is never getting laid." |

You were on the opposite side of the stage from me. Who else besides Cook, Cook and Chikezie came over to the sides? Archie did, didn't he?
We totally disagree on Carly and Syesha, but that's okay. Cory was annoying. I hate that kind of stuff almost as much as I hate having the lights turned on the audience. The girl sitting directly behind my son nabbed a tee shirt. she was an Archtard and was uber excited and then when she opened it up she was all wtf because it was a pop tarts shirt. She and her friends were laughing about it and trying to make each other take the shirt. |

Brooke did, Syesha did, uhhmm....Archie did. I think the only ones that didn't was Michael Johns and Carly iirc.
My friend wet herself when MJ came out. I booed him and Archie. People around me hated me Did you hear me yell out "I love you Syesha" and "We love you Cookie"? I wasn't as loud as the person that shouted that to Ramiele. |

Beautiful Dags! I can feel what you're feeling. I can feel the love.
One cool thing--after his first song Cook said his mother called him the night before all flustered and excited because they used TOML at the Olympics, which he was pretty happy about, it seems. I guess he didn't know they were going to do that.I just heard it again after a medal ceremony (Go Michael Phelps! I just love this guy!) It's like the Olympics theme song. How can they not run it by the singer first? SJB, I think I disagree with most of what you said. But that's how it goes. You know what they say about opinions. |

Curve, were you there last night? They may be better or worse depending on different nights.
I am pretty sure Castro was high as a kite though |

I actually may have heard your Cook shout out--I remember hearing one very clearly from your side of the arena. I'm surprised I didn't hear the
Ramiele one 'cause it was kind of quiet at that point.
You are truly brave to boo Archie in those circumstances. I'm surprised your eyes haven't been scratched out of their sockets. coughmysondidtoocough. But I told him to stop it, even though he was doing it quietly. For some reason my son really did not like Archie. I think it's because all of the girls his age (9 at the time) liked him and squeeled incessantly every Wed am at school during the season. |

I wasn't. You're right. Each show is different when it comes to their singing.

yay! I am glad someone heard me!
Yeah, the Ramiele shoutout was from your side, and she actually heard it and waved to the person who did it. Maybe it was Danny? My friend and I actually slammed Archtard pretty hard. We called him Archu-D2 and she commented on his dance moves and I said he hadn't been programmed to do anything else. And why was he so fucking gaspy after one song? Dude needs to run a few laps. The hausfrau next to me was pissed we were booing him. But considering she didn't stop eating the entire show (literally, she went from pizza to popcorn to snocone to hot dog and just kept going....she actually took up about 20% of my seat), I doubt she had the time to attack me. Or sit on me. It's cute that Brooke didn't know how to pronounce Worcester. Oh, and we wanted to go out to dinner before the show too and every place had an hour or longer wait, and the fucking Subway downtown was closed. Why was downtown Worcester dead at 6PM on a Saturday? |

Well, I thought Jason sang beautifully, and I am not someone who has ever found him hot, so I'm not saying this because I have a crush. Performance
wasn't spectacular, but voice a unique 9.0.

It's cute that Brooke didn't know how to pronounce Worcester. How do you pronounce it? Is that where Worcestershire sauce came from? That was random. |

Worcester is a town in England too, I am pretty sure. The Worcester in Massachusetts is pronounced "Wusster". Or, if you're from New England,
"Wusstah".
Because it's Worcester. After seeing St. Vincent, I kinda wanted to move there after nursing school too. Is it really that dead on weekends, or are there more happening places in town? My friend and I went to Blu, the only gay club in town, after the concert, and it was alright with some great music, nice, fun people and some hot guys so that remedied it a bit for me. Any clue on if there are better areas?

So kinda like mustard? Am I talking about condiments too much?

that's exactly why i love him so much - it's so incredibly refreshing and surprising to see how much he's touched by the affection from the fans
and the sincere respect has for them. so many other performers are sell outs for the sake of "popularity", whether they are just starting out or
already famous, and in that case, the adoration from the fans are for some character they portray on stage. but because cook is so HIMSELF on stage and
everywhere else - without compromise, all that love is for HIM and him alone, and i think that must really touch him. and it probably makes him so much more
able to connect to the crowd than the others. anyway, all these recaps sound pretty cool - should have gone when they came to the tacoma dome, but i
didn't think i'd be able to stomach the archtards.... |

curve31 wrote: Well, the "us" part of "wusster" makes less of an "uh" sound that mustard does. Some people say it sounds like "wooster" but to me, that sounds like "woo-ster" with a long O sound. Wikipedia has it kinda pronounced: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worcester,_Massachusetts If you go to the regular Worcester article for the one in England, it has an audio of the pronunciation and it is pronounced the same as the one in Mass. |

Oh, they weren't that bad, Pemmie. I swore after going to the tour in 06 that I would never do it again. The screaming was so intrusive during that show
it really killed much of my enjoyment. Didn't seem as bad this time, but maybe the acoustics were different at this venue.
Survivorjb--don't say people from NE have that Boston accent--I am a transplant from CT and I would never say Woostah. When I first moved here I got made fun of because I pronounced Quincy "quinsee" instead of the correct "quinzee," and Woburn "woeburn," instead of the accepted "woobuhn." |

Dag, I grew up in Maine so I feel your pain. Try and say Peabody as it should be and people will rip your head off. I pronounce my Rs as well...but many people
in the Boston area don't.

Peabody is a tough one--I'm not even sure I can get the dialectic phonetic spelling correct--it's kind of like peebddy, with no vowels in the last
syllables and the stress on the first. I think.
