Jerry sure as hell broke his word to Brian in the first week of the game. He took off his military shit so he wouldn't dishonor the military by lying, but
he sure as hell still did if his morals are based off the military. Taking off the hat doesn't change that Jerry is playing his veteran card the whole way
and trying to act as if he's some kind of moral god among men in the house.

Another poster said that the military has higher standards to get in now days....bullshit. The army still needs bullet sponges called infantry and I've seen some rock stupid motherfuckers in ALL of the branches of the service. Don't think for a minute that there aren't still dregs of humanity that get admitted into the service...take a good look a Killeen Texas & Fort Hood to answer that question. That was me...and I know what you are saying because my kid's step bro enlisted in the Army as a last resort. He has a criminal record and a history of drug abuse and mental illness by trying to hang himself (in front of his mom) and so was in a mental hospital. Yes, he was accepted and yes he is in infantry. He will never be anything more. But my point is that there are standards that they didn't have when Jerry was drafted. Jerry probably did not have a choice to serve...people today do. He is a hero by default...our troops today are hero's by choice. |

jerry's been a suck ass and i don't think he's been honest in this game either. he says he's never said anything bad about memphis. that's a lie. he says he's never had anything against anyone for personal reasons. lie. i have a right to my opinion and there's no need to argue about it. everyone's entitled to theirs. i got challenged and i answered and now i'm done answering. if pepaw hadn't made a huge issue of his service, we wouldn't even be HAVING this conversation. |
