He wouldn't have to do any campaigning. He IS the deciding vote.

I remember Eric having several tasks during his stay. Sometimes it was "Who do you want Eric to evict?" "Who do you want Eric to campaign
against?, etc." For Dan, it was a "Who do you want Dan to evict?" so I'm just guessing Dan will open the envelope tonight in the DR, and he
doesn't know what's happening yet. I hope I'm wrong, but just a feeling based on him not really going into strategy talks much since Tuesday night.

I can't believe how many of you have forgotten how AP worked! I totally remember all those late Tuesday nights, sitting here with y'all waiting until
around 2:30 am my time, to hear Eric called to the DR to be told how he would have to vote on Thursday. That was the only part of Eric's game I
enjoyed....watching his post DR reactions. He'd either come out deeply depressed and have to go hibernate, or he'd come out bouncing off the walls and
immediately run to everyone to reaffirm his vote. I think Dan's actual ability to show some sense of reserve has thrown us all off.
That said, just because they did it that way with Eric doesn't mean they'd do it exactly the same with Dan. Maybe he doesn't know. It's
possible. I feel like he does though. He just seems entirely too calm to me. If he was about to piss off half the house and had no idea which half, I'd
expect him to be a bit more twitchy today.

My guess: since Dan's vote = America's vote = THE swing vote, the producers are trying to maximize the suspense by NOT telling Dan who he will be
voting for. Dan will be the last to vote tonight, after the other six votes have tied, at which time America's vote will be announced.

someone's going to be pissed off at him either way this goes. he may be thinking of throwing HOH but i don't know if that's a good idea right
now. maybe it doesn't matter---maybe they'll focus on each other, but i know michelle said if jessie goes, she's definitely putting dan up.

All you fucking Danheads. You have no idea what a Catholic boy is capable of. Schooled in the art of deception. Able to spin a tall tale at a moment's
notice. Sincere? That's what he wants you to think, and you will think it.

Yeah, I just think they had to have told him. I mean, I know it's BB and "fair" doesn't enter into it, but it really isn't fair to not
allow him to lay the groundwork to protect himself for next week. I can see them telling him to try to not make it obvious to us, but I still think they'd
let him know. And they clearly like Dan, so I don't see them wanting to hurt his game by keeping him in the dark.

buried out back wrote: Since we're on trivia, hopefully I don't get the beat down about staying on the topic of BB10 .. We don't know if Dan's America's Player tasks are being treated the same way as Eric's are -- Eric's started out easy .. he always received the Sunday tasks which were supposed to be "fun"/easy tasks. The first Tuesday task was "Who do you want Eric to vote to evict? Amber or Carol" .. America chose Carol and that's who he had to vote to
evict..
His first Thursday (after HOH) task was "Who do you want Eric to try to get nominated?" (bolded for my emphasis) .. The first week, Eric was supposed to try to get Jessica nominated.. he talked to Jen about it (briefly) and even though Jessica wasn't nominated, he was marked as "successful" for trying.. After that first week, the wording of the Tuesday and Thursday tasks were much stronger.. it became "Which of the two nominees do you want Eric to get evicted?" for his Tuesday task and "Who do you want Eric to get nominated?" for Thursday task.. and he didn't get marked as successful unless the HG was evicted (for the Tuesday tasks) or if the HG wast nominated [at some point pre or post veto] (for the Thursday tasks) The Sunday show would always feature the segment where Eric was told who America wanted him to get nominated and then they would show footage of him trying
to get that person nominated..
The Thursday shows would always feature recorded segments of Eric getting his marching orders for the vote from America on who to evict and then spent some
time showing him trying to work his magic .. then when the live voting would happen, Julie would make a crack about "Well Eric, we already know who
you're voting for... yadda yadda yadda"
The next week was when Eric was backdoored and stayed (we don't need to get into this debate right now The following week is when the Dick versus Daniele happened.. then Dick takes Daniele off the block, Eric convinced Jessica to nominate Dustin (as America wanted) .. and then America told Eric to get Dustin evicted.. the week started off with Eric looking like he was going to pull the same scheme -- minor joking comments about getting rid of Dustin, but really Eric wanting to get Dick evicted.. Then the DR called Eric in and basically threatened to remove him from the game if he didn't obey America's wishes .. forcing Eric to conceive the Eric/Jessica/Dick/Daniele alliance (the Little Julie Chen alliance) So anyway, again, this is really just me rehashing BB8 all over again. From MY perspective, it looks like Grodner has positioned Dan as America's Player similar to Eric's first week.. a "fun" version of America's Player without having to do all the scheming and plotting and strategizing that was required as Eric progressed farther through the game.. That's fine by me, because Dan is starting to grow on me.. so I hope this really is a one week thing for Dan and we won't get a "do you want to continue as America's Player for the rest of the game?" ... Everyone knows that America's Player can be both a blessing and a curse .. all wrapped up into one nice little ball
