Here's hoping now Aaron Rodgers gets injured and/or Chad Pennington quarterbacks the Vikings to the Super Bowl. Just to make this whole thing perfect.

OK I have to say this whole thing is about the funniest fucking thing ever. I love that after Brett had finally given up hope of playing for the Vikings or
Bears (why he wanted to play in Chicago I STILL have no idea) and OK'd the trade to Tampa Bay that Green Bay turned around and traded him to the Jets
instead just to twist in that knife even more. Also hilarious that the ESPN guy is explaining that apparently Brett was wary of going to New York because
he's a country boy but then when it was explained to Brett the Jets actually play in New Jersey that somehow made it OK.
Here's hoping now Aaron Rodgers gets injured and/or Chad Pennington quarterbacks the Vikings to the Super Bowl. Just to make this whole thing perfect. |

Looking at who the Jets play this year they could lose both games to the Pats and still win the Division with 12/13 winsRight...and which 5 teams are the Patriots going to lose to? |

Dammit, I LIKED Chad. And he was kicking Kellan's ass in the training camp competition. When he's not injured, he's more than good enough.
Brett's exciting, but... ~tari! |

The Jets? Hadn't heard this news by the time I went to bed last night.
Good luck Brett! How you think you're going to get that next SB ring with the Jets is beyond me but, yeah. Good luck! |

Bye, Chad.
Now you'll start zero games instead of starting 3 games this year. Dear God...it's me, Wayne. Please put Tony Romo on the Madden cover next year. Thanks. |

Wow. Just wow. A New York team trades for an aging gunslinger in the twilight of his career. Who do the Jets think they are? The Yankees?
As a Jets season ticket holder, the only upside is finally seeing Favre play in person. I don't see this trade working for the Jets. Favre has a freelancing adlibbing style that will clash with Magini's conservative close to the vest anal persona. If Favre can play 2 more years at even close to what he did last year, well, maybe something will come out of it. Like a winning season. Cough. I really liked Chad Pennington. His arm aside, he's a top flight QB. And disregard Siddon's blathering about Chad being soft. Trust me, Chad wasn't soft. He was playing with shoulder/ankler injuries that would have put lesser QBs on the DL. He's proven to be a tough competitor with a bad arm. Chad's best team to be traded to is any warm weather/dome team that employs a West Coast offense. I think the Vikings will be a good fit. Solid offensive line and Petersen in the backfield. The Viking fans will see the best play actioner in the NFL at work. Just don't expect too many downfield bombs. RIP CHad. Welcome ESPN/Favre/Madden to NYC |

From the Frozen Tundra to frozen Secaucus.
Way to take a whizz on the legacy, Favrah. *I need two Jets tickets, please.* |

The Vikes are already expressing interest in ol C-Penn. I hope he ends up someplace.
This was a great trade for the Pack. They have been forging their new team around Favre's retirement since February. Now, instead of having him walk away and getting nothing in return, they could potentially get a 1st round pick for him. They just need to hope Aaron Rodgers learned a thing or two over the past three years. I'm guessing Mike McCarthy really believes in him since he just let one of the greatest walk away. |

Jet fans will be doing backflips if they end up trading a first round pick to the Pack. |

Um, the Eagles are Gang Green, not the shitty Jets. I demand a reprint and a full apology.

Does this change his prediction rankings, now? |

To be fair, the name Gang Green should be awarded to the team with more SB titles.
Jets win. Is Twisted still around? Jets win 10 games and make the playoffs. |

I'll place the over/under for INTs by the bye week at 10 1/2.

Going to the shitty Jets will hurt the legacy of the greatest quarterback to ever lace 'em up. Even worse is the fact that Jets games are now going to be
shown in my market.

I'm sure Joe Montana's legacy will be fine :^)

With Montana coming out of retirement and playing for the Jets, poor Brett will ride the bench.
Wouldn't it be great if the Jets beat New England in Favre's first home game? After what happened in February, the Patriots getting owned by another NY team in the home stadium of the SB champs would rub salt into the wounds |
