I love how the "Got Talent" franchise is basically an fat ugly male opera breeding ground. They are all average at best. I don't get why the
judges are enthrolled with opera, it's the most boring genre.

I know they need to keep some of the acts so there are some easy kick offs when the real show begins, but come on! We all know those two little kids who
really cannot sing but are cute are not going to make it very far, if they make it to top 40 at all. Why hurt their feelings? We knew Queen was going ahead,
but I was surprised Kat did not. She is a big deal here in Asheville, NC. I was glad to see the Pickler copy go, and shocked the teen in the red dress did
not advance. I thought she was pretty good. I did not see a lot of them in their first auditions or last night for many of them that went through. Was the
Frank Sinatra impersonator any good?
I just keep asking myself if I would want to sit and watch them for ninety minutes. No to the brick breaker for sure. No to the little kids. Did the sword swallower move on? Funny when the arrogant magician had the malfunction and said it was part of the act. |

I don't think a 4 year old is right for a Las Vegas show. She will probably sing "Twinkle twinkle little star" and that is not good 1 hour
entertainment. They should limit the talent to 8 years and older.

If the four year old makes it, she's going far. The little brat has like 4 million hits on youtube from her audition.
The sword swallower made it. The Frank Sanitra guy was average, like most the acts. ETA: Why have we not discussed our collection of blonde whores? Who is your fave?

About the sword swallower, he would be great amongst all the freak show contestants. That is what America's Got Talent should do for a Las Vegas
show...put all the freak talent into a 2 hour event. Most of the freak show talents usually have about 5-10 minutes worth anyway. The sword swallower already
did the most dangerous sword and he's got like 5 of them to choose from. That is about a 10 minute spot right there. Add him to that man/woman voice
opera singer, little Chinese pretzel girl, brick breaker dude, and the others with a 10 minute max freak talent and you've got AMERICA'S TALENT.

I just think Queen Emily puts her own little style on everything, sort of like Fantasia.. She's not just a random robotic everyday diva singer. That's
part of why I like her.

I can't believe the chunky 15 year old piano/singer didn't make it. She was fabulous.X I thought she was top 10 or better material. I like the military guy that forgot his words too. At least one of my faves got through. TOO many dumb acts / mediocre performers got through. It seemed like some of them used their best stuff for the first audition, creating high expectations which they cannot deliver on. I don't see this getting better each week. |

I thought the 15 year old was better suited for Vegas then those under 8 year olds. We did not see all the acts yesterday so there still may be a few we see
tomorrow. They cut out some singers who passed but weren't shown.

Yes! Both fat guys made it! I really want to see a fat guy vs fat guy in the final 2. I wanted that since season 6 of American Idol where I wanted to see a Chris Sligh vs Sundance final 2. Hopefully the white fat guy and his ethnic brother step it up! I can't wait! |
