Libra won the competition, she rightfully had the right to pick any damn prize she wanted. Speaking from someone who has been to Hawaii, it's a once in a lifetime thing and you have memories to last you a lifetime. Why the hell not treat yourself (and for the next 18 years of life, you are pretty much servants to those little bratty kids) one last time. A once in a lifetime trip to Hawaii >>>>>>>>> a 3 paragraph update from her husband about the exciting life of toddlers. ETA: Libra didn't come on the show to win a letter from home. She came on the show to win money to better her family. Winning the trip was basically like winning 10k to pay for your once in a lifetime vacation.

One would think after spending three months away from her infants that she would want to stay as close as possible to them for as long as possible, but nope, gotta go to Hawaii for that once-in-a-lifetime vacation.

What I don't understand is why this woman had children at all. I hate criticizing a woman for not being a "traditional" wife/mom, but this bitchy deluded nut case has broken that hesitation. She was pissed that on her birthday she was told she was having twins. She only "wanted" two kids, how dare they ruin her birthday like that? She has daycare for the kids available from 6AM to 6PM so she can "work at home." It really seemed that at first "working at home" was used by her to let people assume she was such a good mommy that she arranged an at home job. She has said that she and her husband have taken vacations since the twins were born, and now she leaves for 3-4 months too? They are so tiny, and so much happens in that first two years. Strangers are the nurturers here, and the ones watching them learn. Her mini mentions of her kids, and then the abrupt, "I am over it's!" and laughs are just odd. It seems pretty obvious to me that she is thrilled to be away from the grind of kids and bills. The only thing she misses with passion is sex with her husband. That is the only time she shows enthusiasm for her "family." She lied and said that only family members cared for her kids, (she would never-ever leave them with strangers!) then later, with Dan, confessed that her husband's mom wasn't suitable to watch them, and her mom worked full time, so the kids had 12 hour a day day-care. Her mom however "watches them all the time." When? After day care? So you have your weekends free too? Does she spend any time with them at all? She just isn't the mom type. Since the dad travels for work, I do feel sorry for these kids. A human learns at an incredible rate in those first few months and years of life, more than at any other time. She is having almost no part of that, and apparently dad isn't either. They are so completely helpless too. Why did she have them at all? My guess is either for her image of herself as a perfect woman, or that they were all boo boos. Poor kids. Usually I think the "letter from home" is a lame choice. However, this time, for a mother to not even want news of her tiny twins or little girl? It was pretty creepy, but completely in character that her first choice was another vacation away from the rug rats. Libra loves sex and money. Kids? Not so much.
