I saw it last night, but don't watch on a regular basis. I know it's all tricks, but would like to know how they do some of the stuff. My daughter, who is 26, really likes his show, too.

Hecka... check out you.tube. If you type in Criss Angel revealed, you can see a few step by steps. None of the major major things, but a few cool ones that I would have never thought of.

I like how he's willing to give up some of his secrets and insists that he's not magic. It makes the whole thing more fun in a way.

He is okay. The kids like him, so I watch for them. BUT I know the levitation is fake. Details Here I read somewhere that he or Blaine will tape the levitation reaction from the crowd, then tell the crowd they need to retape it and will use something to make him look like he is levitating even more than he did the first time.

I read that spoiler on how the levitation is done only it doesn't say how he can levitate more than a couple of inches. He goes between buildings. I've also seen him levitate a few feet up. I'm totally baffled.

I really don't want to know how things are done..I'm still trying to figure out how David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty disappear

I just found out he's dating Cameron Diaz. Nice couple.
Looking forward to his new season tonight. I'm catching the later re-run. |

he said last week that they werent dating then this morning when he got out of the box after thanking his family, friends, crew and fans, he sent a special thanks out to Cameron, referring to her as his "special person," and said "I love you baby - have a good shrek tour." So who knows.
The season premiere was pretty good. |

I saw his levitation tape on how he does it, it does take the mystery away. Much better to continue being baffled at how they do this stuff.
We saw a great magic show on a cruise ship once where one partner stood on a box in the audience and our son got to hold the curtain with the assistant then the magician switched out with his partner who was on the stage. It was done less than 10 feet in front of us and we still can't figure out how in the hell it was done. |

As far as I've heard, he doesnt use camera tricks or editing for his stunts. He's not using magic either but he admits that too.
I saw in one episode him practicing catching an arrow in mid-air. He had to do it over and over before he got it. Anyone with half a brain knows he's not doing magic and that he has a crew of people who sometimes assist him. That doesnt mean what he's doing doesnt take a lot of hard work and skill. Its an art, what he does. Each trick that he learns is a performance and you can tell that getting it right means a lot to him. Then again, I've only started to become a fan of his but I've been genuinely impressed with what he does. The box trick was whatever. That was a big spectacle to boost hype. I like the street-magic he does. Little things that blow people's minds. I dont think I've ever seen a show with so many bleeped out swear words. I think its the reactions of the people he performs for that is the most entertaining to me. |

Anybody watch the A&E special last night when Criss tried to escape the SpyGlass Hotel before it imploded? Just wanted to know people's thought on if
his actual escape was Plan A or Plan B (as he stated). He had trouble picking the locks and didn't make it to the rooftop helicopter in time...probably
went downstairs instead with pre-recorded cameras showing him picking the locks.

I've liked Criss for over 10 years, I loved his live shows that were a combo of magic and metal music. They were totally goth/industrial.
The fame has changed him a little, but still a big fan. I can't stand David Blaine. |
