I still think it goes back to Will's inability to connect with the audience. He was a strong technical dancer, but I'm sure for a good number of the rabid viewers, and maybe even some of the casual ones, the fact that he was SO pimped could've been a turn off. When I see someone as unique as Mark and someone with a crapload of personality like Twitch, I'll radiate more towards them because they CAN dance and have strong personalities that connect me to the dance. Will, for me, lacked in any real personality. I was also turned off by the fact that he was Debbie Allen's protege. IMO, I think that if Will had not been pimped as Debbie Allen's bread and butter, he might've been more well-received.

I also found the fact that he got constant praise while Jessica got constant dismissal as off-putting. Any other season, Nigel would've made a point to to say that Will wasn't doing his part as a partner by not bringing Jessica up to his level. Instead, he seemed all too willing to point out that Jessica was bringing Will down. Again, it isn't necessarily Will's fault, but it seemed that the judges unwillingness to even give him some type of negative criticism (blaming Jessica and blaming America for him being in the Bottom 2 and NOT something that Will did or didn't do) was one of the things that could've led to his dismissal on Thursday.

As for Mark staying, I think his uniqueness helped him out...and the fact that he was paired with Comfort probably also had something to do with it. Some people may still feel slighted by the fact that Comfort got to come back and may believe that Mark's performance suffered. Also, I think power voters (which some of you are!) can make a bigger effect on Dance than it can on Idol. The viewership is smaller, which means those who actually vote are smaller in numbers, and I think it makes it easier to take a possible bottom person and put them up top.

I think that everyone is obviously entitled to their opinions, but making a race issue seems a bit "easy"...especially when there are numerous factors that contributed to Will's "good bye."

With that being said...Looking forward, I can actually see Josh making it into the Final 4. If it means power voting for him and Mark, I'll do it. I feel that Twitch has gotten enough praise to have quite the career no matter what, whereas Josh and Mark might need the extra attention of winning or being a Finalist to really get their careers going. As for the girls, I love all three of them, but Katee is the one I want to see win. Chelsea is a great dancer, but Courtney, to me, is a lot more fun. But, it's really the matter of who is going to lose to Katee/Twitch in the Final 4, IMO.
