As hilarious as Kathy is, look at the amount of attention that she obviously requires. The average person does not need or seek out that kind of validation. I will always love her as a TV character but I don't doubt that she's utterly tiresome to actually work with, and if she's a bit of a bitch when things don't go her way, that wouldn't shock me either. I think she's even said in her stand up before that the show edits her to look nicer.

I was flipping channels during the commercials and I came across a TV movie called "A Diva Christmas Carol" or something like that, circa 1990...on the LMN channel, whatever that is. Kathy was the ghost taking Vanessa Williams around to see her past. It did not look funny at all...the little bit that I saw.
