Posts: 2603 (07/25/08 7:34 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	geez, let's not put words in people's mouths. i'm a bblock fan in general, but of course i see rex/mo/darnell's faults. as for rachel and kat, "boring" and "annoying" are pretty subjective judgments that obviously not everyone's gonna agree on. i dont think anyone in the house is EVIL, but i really just can't stand listening to luke and mikey moan on and on and on about game-players when they're HUGE game-players themselves. that's why i dislike them. the others in the house at least have other personality characteristics besides that. (i find myself disagreeing with you a lot mikiboi so i will throw in a little BRIGITTE <333 to smooth things over)

Now that the primary female hate figure is out, the public will immediately massively forgive Dale and Stuart since... you know, they forgive boring pretty guys within hours of offensive behavior. If Dale/Stuart avoid nomination next week, then the stigma of Bex will roll off their backs just like what happened with Jen.. And...odds are, the hate will either fall on Luke (hopefully, I hate that bleeding annoying fucktard) or Sara. I don't get the whole attitude that people have to be shit stirring hypocrites to be entertaining. I don't like Mo. I agree, he's greedy, boring, and isn't a very interesting person. But the rest of B-Block really intrigues me. Constant whining about game playing and two-faced behavior (while exhibiting more of it than anyone in the house) doesn't. So seriously, get over this mentality that you're the only enlightened one when it comes to this show. People are going to have differing opinions and to act like B-Block fans don't see the criticisms of those characters is narrow minded as hell. Darnell has been a MAJOR dickhead at times. Snapping at Rachel and what he did to Sara with the food was hands down the most awkward/awful behavior that's been in the house for weeks. But he's far more faceted a person/character than anyone from the Luxury Bedroom clan who are VERY one dimensional, and that one side they show? Is AWFUL and BORING. Anyway... I think that Mo is going to be gone next week, potentially nominated against Luke? I also agree that Lisa is going to start getting more nominations now that Bex is gone. Maybe Sara. Dale/Stuart are ONLY in danger next week, and really, only Stuart is, and only if he's nominated against Luke/Rex/Darnell. If Mo is an option next week, I think he'll go. So yeah, that said...I think the final six is gonna be Dale, Kat, Rachel, Darnell, Mikey (ugh...), and Luke. So yeah, despite finding Luke detestable..I think he's in here for the long run.

All Luke and Mikey have done is bitch and wallow in misery, their own misery as well as the misery of others. This is interspersed with Luke droning about fake and gameplay and which people in the house only care about the money, or Mikey accepting help from Rachel and then trashing her behind her back. I don't think any of the Happi Hou group, except Kat, were ever supposed to be liked by the audience. It's Mikey's fault, Luke's fault, Mario's fault, Jen's and Dale's fault, that their group were such miserable, self-righteously smug people. Since BB loves Luke so much, and since Luke, Dale and Mikey are men, then it's only safe to assume Luke and Mikey, as well as Dale, will now be able to spend the rest of the weeks in the house bitching and treating other people like crap and still be able to get to the finals, maybe even win. I am aware that not all B Block fans gloss over everything they do but I see the general consensus like on DS:BB is that Luxury Bedroom is evil and Happi Hou is all good. I've never stipulated I knew everything about this show, far from it. Many others here would be called experts on here about BB, I don't even remember eviction orders last year or even what happened on week 1 of the show, I'm the last person to feel superior in any BB knowledge. The only BB I feel comfortable boasting any knowledge if BBOZ because its so goddamn predictable that you don't even need odds to know what's going to happen. I'm just more irritated than anything this year because the people I've enjoyed watching have been going and they are getting this evil coating of a layer that I find to be unfair.

Last season Archuleta was painted as the Antichrist and Cook as the genius who could do no wrong. I guess that's the mentality you'll get on most message boards. All I am saying is that the group has been overdemonized and the other group underdemonized in terms of their behaviours, that's all. I'd actually like B Block more if it wasn't for that. Least to me that's what I see and it's just my little opinon. I don't wanna come off as arrogant or a know it all. Am I Rex now??

I think that some viewers feel that the LBR crew has had some preferential treatment. Not as much as previous seasons (where they would do all the gimmicks to keep or get rid of certain housemates) or that Luke has received too much positive treatment in the editing.

I can see why everyone feels the way they do about the housemates, whether for or against B Block or Luxury bedroom. I'd say losing Rebecca was a huge blow since she was a big character but she really brought it on herself with how she had behaved since the start. And best of all, it was a huge blow to Luke and company since they had been on their high horse since forever about how horrible B block has been, Darnell and Mo in particular. At least Darnell has admitted being a dumbass and knows how badly he's screwed up with people. He can't restrain himself either way, kicking off and being an ass or regreting things and being pessmistic about himself in general. Mo's boring as hell and I can see how hated he is by the other housemates because he really is a leech on everyone and everything. Dale and Stu need to go up on the block next. Seriously.
