I'm beginning to see that the right's answer to the Obama campaign is less "Vote for McCain" than it is "Don't vote for Obama."

She asked him 3 times because she was looking for a different answer. That's not journalism, it's stupidity.

As much as I dislike Obama I can't fault him for still saying he would not support the surge. If he really did not support the war, it would make sense
that he not want to put more resources or troops into it.
That being said, I don't like that he still would not support the surge. Next time you hear Obama speak, listen closely. He wants to be your "Commander and Chief". |

Journalists do this. They are trying to play gotcha and keep asking in hopes of getting an actual answer instead of a non-answer or a parry. This goes for both
sides.
Liberals get wet dreams when bulldog Henry Waxman grills the Bush Administration 20 different ways but get a hissy fit whenever Obama is pressed with questions harder than the usual softball level. |

It wasn't a non-answer, it was a non-flip flop. If he said he supports the surge now, wingers would be calling flopbama, or whatever goofy name Rush
Limbaugh says.

He didn't say it had no effect, he questions the point of surging in Iraq when Afghanistan is where the real threat to the US is.

Are we still calling this guy the greatest speaker ever?
---- No, we're still calling him by his middle name in an attempt to smear him. Now run along and name one of your spawn Adolph or Idi or something. |

hasn't McCain admitted that he knows nothing about computers or the internet or how to use email?
