I thought Laura would end up being a Broadway star, but guess not. Although "Grease" itself needs to just be put to rest.

Although "Grease" itself needs to just be put to rest.amen to that it had to be bailey over autumn. hopefully autumn will find a job where dancing isnt as important as voice. that said i wouldnt go see this show unless seaguy was paying AND buying dinner (with drinks) |

So much on Broadway ISN'T total cheeseball crap. Why does everybody focus on the stuff that is? And you are definitely right that Bailey is more inherently right for the role than Autumn. IMO, though, it never should have come down to the two of them, anyway. Autumn is wrong for the role and Bailey sucks. Of the choices they had (not that any of them were amazing...) Lauren was the best combination of talent and right-ness for the role... |

Lauren was the best combination of talent and right-ness for the role...Lauren wasn't nearly as polished with her dancing. Based on what I have seen from this musical, there are some pretty heavy dance numbers. Lauren got a perfect role that will help her mature. She plays a role on tour that speaks about 5 times in the play, Margo <3. |

Lauren wasn't nearly as polished with her dancing. Eh. I'd take unpolished dancing over mediocre singing and horrible acting, any day! Dancing is the branch of triple-threat-dom that can most easily be overlooked and still have a worthwhile Broadway star. So many Broadway leading ladies (and men, for that matter) are NOT great dancers. They just tweak the choreography and give all of the heavy lifting to the chorus, while the lead just moves well in front... |

Eh. I'd take unpolished dancing over mediocre singing and horrible acting, any day!Yeah the part of Elle really requires the Whitney Houston esque voice. Also, you have to be an amazing actress to play Elle. Trying to act like a shallow dingbat is the hardest of all parts. |

And yet, Bailey STILL couldn't pull it off! All you could see is her TRYING TO ACT like a shallow dingbat. If she could manage to just be herself,
it would be so much more natural!!!

And yet, Bailey STILL couldn't pull it off!I thought she was doing a pretty good natural job of it. Which is why I was endeared to her lovely persona <3. |

LBB can't sing for shit, and Bailey isn't much better. I'd rather go to a show and be blown away by an amazing number by someone who can SANG rather than act. If I want great acting, I'll see a play not a musical. |

A musical is a play. It's a play with singing. Settling for bad acting in a musical shouldn't be
necessary. You should be able to have leads who can act as well as sing.

I know that, silly bitch. Ideally yes you would want a good actress as well. But in a musical, I want a big and/or great voice that can handle the singing
first and foremost. The acting is just not as important to me in a musical. Ideally I'd like someone who can be the triple threat, but that is harder to
find.

Your perogative, I guess. If I see bad acting, I'm going to hate the show. I don't care how well the person sings. If all you care about is singing,
then you may as well just see a concert...

As I said, ideally you'll get both, but it doesn't always work that way. If they aren't giving a concert and you love the performers voice, seeing them in a show is the next best thing. As I mentioned in my post above. |

Swim, did you download Bailey's song from itunes? It's now available for 99 cents! As of this morning, no reviews were written! You should be the first to write a review! =DNo. With the exception of one or two people (Pickler and Underwood) I rarely care what happens to someone after the show is over. |

I was touched at the end when all the girls randomly popped up for the encore. I love me some Natalie. PS- Someone over uses the word ideally. hahaha

I finally watched the finale of this shitfest. I didn't really like either of them, but I guess I just don't like the musical version of Elle, or this
show's take on it. The songs are fucking dumb too. Still, none of the contestants were anywhere close to being as perky and delightfully clueless as
Reese's Elle.
You know who would have been perfect for this show? Brooke Helvie from AI last year:
<333 The best part of the finale was defo Bailey failing to hide her utter ELATION when Rhiannon was booted. <3

Damn you are so right. She would have been great! She had a decent voice didn't she? This show sucks but ideally they should have found a real perky triple
thread. Don't you think that ideally that would have been best? Ideally?

Got an email from a friend earlier and he mentioned that he was happy to hear that Lauren & Rhiannon were offered parts in the tour and that Autumn was
offered the understudy for Elle on Broadway. I knew about Lauren, but not the rest. Anyone else hear this?
