Mets wanted him too. He was great for them in 2006. Got us Ollie Perez.

It's hard to win when you only score one run. You're asking that pitcher to be near perfect.

Dammit. Just because we have Szmazrzjza the Cubs have to invite that fat fuck loser Charlie Weis to sing the 7th inning stretch? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRr.

HARDEN IS CURSED WHAT THE FUCK
maybe he needs to strike out fewer than 10 people to get a win... |

I'd like to thank the Phillies for assuring they'll pretty much be out of the division race by August this year.

I guess when your offense loses complete interest in their jobs, the pitching performances no longer matter. weve had pretty much quality starts every game
since the break, yet have 3 wins to show for it. The offense has become plain bad. Theres really no ay to sugr coat it. Somehow, they still have the most runs
in the NL by a decent margin, but thats because we have alot of lop sided wins mixed in with games in which the offense decides not to show up for work.

if they don't win the brewers series as a result of poor offense there's no way soriano doesn't drop in the lineup
i just pray pinella has the sense to hit him 5th and not 2nd |

The Indians received minor league catcher Carlos Santana and right-handed pitcher Jon Meloan. Santana is hitting .323 with 14 homers for Inland Empire in
the Class A California League. The hard-throwing Meloan is 5-10 with a 4.97 ERA at Triple-A Las Vegas, but he has piled up 335 strikeouts in only 262 innings
in his minor league career.

The Brewers haven't done their usual second half slide yet so hopefully they can wait until after the Cubs series when they'll have a bit of a lead
in the division!

He should be in the heart of the lineup, with Theriot at leadoff and Fontenot or Fukudome at the 2 hole. I know Soriano doesnt like to bat at the heart, but thats too bad. They're paying him enough money. Theriot Fontenot vs. RHP/Johnson vs. LHP Soriano Ramirez Lee Soto Edmonds vs. RHP/DeRosa vs. LHP Fukuome pitcher. |

time to falter when they need the wins the most. Par for the course!
