Anyone been watching the Dream tournament at all? Been some real great fights and stories coming out of it.

I watch pretty much anything. And since DREAM has been free on HDNet, I am all over it. I have a problem with watching the whole event, because I do not know
most of the fighters. The presentation is good, but it is way too long. I find myself fast forwarding most of it. I also do not like how they tried to roll
the semi's and final into one night. With the strict rules on medical clearance, it makes it tough to pull off. The days of UFC tourneys where no one
called any fighters off the card for medical reasons are over.

You watching the prelims?

Now they're showing Matt Brown vs a Korean dude. |

The Korean guy just won with the split decision. WTF?! Okay, he apologized for the unsatisfactory match, saying he'd rather lose than going to a decision, but still. WTF?! |

HOLY SHIT!!!!!
Oh, Chuck! (Now I'm really afraid for Randy Couture. He's too old to come back, and I really don't want to see him get hurt. |

This was a changing of the guard. Younger and faster Rashad Evans cleaned Chuck's clock. I'm curious to see how he'll do against Forrest Griffin.
He's definitely faster than Forrest, but is he tougher? I'm afraid Randy Couture is going to face the same fate against Brock Lesnar in November given
he's 45 and Brock is a monster and at least 10 years younger.

I thought Chuck's jaw went flying into the stands. Rashad connected 100% on that shot and it was dream street for the Iceman. I hope Randy works on his
jui-jitsu because if Brock gets on top he might not be able to get up. Randy is a heck of a wrestler and is very smart in the ring and very good at preparing
for his opponents strengths and weaknesses. I think he'll find a weakness in Brock's game and take advantage of it, much like Mir did. Brock
isn't seasoned enough to defend some of the submissions, but that isn't Randy's strength either.

This is really, really sad
Evan Tanner has died.

R.I.P Evan Tanner.
It's even harder to hear especially after the personal battles and demons he's overcome in the past year. If you've read his blogs he always had this adventurous spirit, always openly honest about everything good and everything bad that's happened in his life. You'll be missed. |

Junie is going to be the next Chris Leben, either loathed or loved to the extreme by the end of the season.

I like Junie. He has a playful arrogance that actually works for him.

So, no new thread or new thread title? Anyone know any good TUF forums? |
