read somewhere this weekend that "supposedly" a fan asked him and he said he was going to try out... take it with a big grain of salt...

I read that too. She said that she asked him and he said he was. But that may change because it was a lot of pressure following David.

Some radio station here gave a "gossip" type off the cuff remark this morning from a field reporter last night about a possible incident with Johns,
so there may be something to that. Sad. I think it was Ramiele, maybe Kristie, who thanked the fans who waited for hours in the autograph lines. I
wasn't that dedicated.
I kinda indicated it already, but I already knew I will be buying a ticket for Cook's first tour. (David Cook, that is.) If given the chance to tour solo, or with someone else I don't hate, Carly is getting my money too. I was that impressed. I'm still in awe of her performance last night. If it matters, Cook only wore a white shirt, no jacket, until the group song. He had the rear pocket chain, and what looked like part of a scarf hangin off him. Johns had a scarf too. Why is that a fashion accessory - in 91 degree July? I will say, Johns has some rabid women fans. When we walked in, there was a blow up picture of the idols, and you could get your picture taken in front of it. Some 50ish woman posed licking Michael John's ear. Great that her 8 year old granddaughter gets a keepsake of that moment! I wondered, and discovered, that there was people of all ages there. I saw as many moms as I did grandmoms and daughters. I would guess it was a female majority, but not too dramatic. The only fans I got mad at were these four crusty old, I mean ancient, women, who waited til Hello started, making sure Archulets was done, then left to get a head start and walked out on Cook. Those bitches. Actually, more like thou bitches. There was no one favorite, the cheering increased throughout, although there was a dropoff a bit from Johns to Kristie. She is in a lousy spot, following Johns, every night, but one thing I did like was her spirit. Apparently cameras were allowable, I assumed not or I would have taken one. Bummed now I didn't. I can't afford to have mine taken away. Michael

I'm loving all these details! But yeah, it seems that "idolmania" produces just that, a ton of maniacs! I sure hope all these kids will stay
safe and not be too traumatized by the nutbars.
Michael, I agree with your description of the 4 hags that left right after Archie sang. Sounds like they were just trying to stick it to Cook. How freakin' rude! There are just no words for the chick with the sign. |

That sign was disgusting. Why do people even do things like that. The competitions done with, get over it. There was also a fan account of some girls that had
Cook's family phone number and had asked him to sign it. David was a little freaked out about it, reasonably so, and had security take it away.
I feel for all the idols. At first it was probably fun, but the crazies are really starting to show up. I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped coming out all together. The last two stops alone there have been quite a few disturbing fan encounters. |

The people over at D.C.-org have posted that there was an incident with Johns last night at the buses. I guess one of Rickey.orgs cellcasters was there and
someone at the line for the buses shot Johns with a water gun.

What's up with Columbus? Has this been the only city where there have been so many incidents?
Thanks for the detailed recaps, Michael. Good stuff. |

Incidents of this magnitude..Yes, I think so.
I read a couple of stories about the fans getting pushy and what not in L.A. But psycho stories like this, yes, I think Columbus is it so far. |

Great review, Michael, thanks!
That pic of Cook upthread with the smudged eyeliner is hawt. The bitch with the threatening sign ought to be arrested. Seriously, what a fucking insane psychopath. |

Wow - the people who come with signs that say things like "I killed 12 million people after the American Idol finale" or "The Cook family phone
number is..." are SO freaking deranged. What could the motivation possibly be? Do they think that Archie (being very religious and a huge fan of Cook)
would appreciate their fucked-up sign, or that Cook would dig the fact that his family's phone number is being displayed for the world to see? It's
like they're out to disturb the person that they're supposedly a fan of.

Probably. Like that crazed bitch who was obssessed with Selena and then killed her. I cannot begin to understand the fucked up psychology that motivates these people. |

Curve posted a bunch of Castro pics in his thread. Maybe it will be Cook's turn tonight.

I don't know what's better about that gif; his bulging ctotch, the ass shaking, or Michael getting on his knees in front of his
bulging crotch. Damn!
