I found that all pretty satisfying, except for one little thing. But well done, Mr. Davies, tied up just about every loose end, and set up one new thing that everyone suspected. More later, when you all have watched : )

Well, it's twice as big as usual, yeah?

Sad. I'm going to be depressed for the rest of the day, and probably most of tomorrow.

Crap. Normal youtube links looks like they went down. Not sure when I'll get to see this one.

Yeah, weird, isn't it? It's almost as if she turned right instead of left.

Well that was worth the wait.

If someone's having a problem finding it- PM me and I'll post a link to a streaming site.
I loved it - Rose got her Doctor, one that's half human and that she can actually have a family and grow old with. I cried (but not as much as I did in Doomsday) when they were at Bad Wolf Bay. I don't get why Rose had to go back to the parallel universe but Mickey could stay in the real one? Wouldn't that throw things off too?? And is Martha going to join Torchwood?? Doctor Donna was amazing - Catherine Tate outdid herself this episode. |

Well, since they spoiled the ending of Season 2 of Torchwood, there's a male and female opening.
also, something that came to mind - in Doomsday, the Doctor told Rose that she was declared dead. They never said anything about declaring Mickey dead. So Rose coming alive would raise a lot of questions as well. But I'm gladd we got the Rose/Doctor ending. Now I want to see The Notebook Pt 2: Rose and Doctor's love story |

I didn't know the Doctor/David was in Harry Potter's
Goblet O' Fire...more wibbly, wobbly time stuff, I guess. |

Did anyone watch this last night? What was up with Rose's teeth seeming more prominent than usual? And a couple times she seemed to have trouble talking.

Also I read somewhere that Billie had forgotten how to play Rose and had to watch old episodes to remember so it's possible that was a result.

Damn, Scifi really cut that episode to ribbons. That episode really suffered because of it. It seemed like something was missing from every scene.

Wow...what a rough ending. Donna deserved better.

Well, I was talking about "Turn Left" when I wrote that. I didn't really notice it in "Journey's End", since they did give it a 90
minute slot. "Turn Left" had whole conversations and scenes missing, some that I thought were really emotional.
That's only the second time I've watched the finale...knowing what was going to happen to Donna made it much harder to watch. RTD went way disturbing on that one. |
