what happened in the thread? no, i'm not defending the way it went marty. everybody makes mistakes. i see people do goofy shit every weekend in OT.
i've known the guy a long time. he's been around a long time, never been a controversial poster or a troublemaker. i've seen him do many kindnesses
irl, as well as on the boards. i go with what i know about xabby, and that is overwhelmingly that he's a good person.

And I never really paid much attention to him before other than that he was the EQ guy, I think. But he never seemed like the type of person who would cross the lines he crossed. I'm pretty sure he was either really high or really self-destructive, because he seems like a smart guy who wouldn't go to the lengths that he went to. Even if he's not a lawyer, he has been around long enough to know exactly where his actions would lead him. You can totally empathise with the emotions he was feeling as he posted, but can you dismiss it as "goofy", or do you realize that he has crossed a rather famous (Oiler/KOM) line? Does it seem like silly internet stuff to you, or is it just something that can be dismissed as a "one-time-out-of-character" deal |

I don't care about what he was doing with me. I'm talking more about the posting of personal information. That speaks towards at true base
motivation to destroy another person. Insinuating that you know exactly where somebody is and you are calling the cops or CPS or CIA... that is ridiculous. If
he did it once as a one-off, it means that it can be done again. He either committed board suicide by admin, or he was so fucked up that he had no moral
boundaries.
