Jodhi said that she never agreed to do a live finale (which I suppose is true as she was quoted as such after S3 disaster), but some articles say that she backed out at the last minute and Fox8 are pissed. There have been conflicting reports as to whether she'll be back, but it's too good to be true. I'm certain that where doomed for another season with Jodhi.

I think that they didn't care about letting her have a vote because they wanted it to come down to the Viewer Vote so that when Demelza won it wouldn't look like a complete fix. (Also so that they could actually push the VV angle, as last year didn't seem like that big of a deal.)

Alex wasn't a strong enough contender to gather support from the audience -- which is probably why Sam and Caris would have never been allowed to reach F2 -- and in the week leading up to the finale there seemed to be a PR campaign in Demelza's favour about how she was sincerely sorry for being a brat, got a personal trainer, blahblahblah (and it was also revealed that Alamela and her family were put on lock down re: giving interviews).

In the long run, I guess Demelza will show if she was a worthy winner, but by the looks of her Vogue spread I'd say she's going nowhere fast.

Also, I don't expect her to make any other appearances in the mag beyond her prize (let alone get two covers like Alice <3). Vogue editor Kirstie Clements has been very admant that she is unhappy with the decision. Ha!

Unfortunately, that bit about Alamela's ban from interviews is true. Her dad eventually gave an interview and said so.

Even watching Jodhi read from cue cards in a pre-recorded segment was painful. Me thinks that live tv isn't her only problem. The woman is just horrible. Please just stick to making crappy swimwear!

Sadly, Erika was beat out by Jennifer Hawkins to host MMAS and I still haven't seen the eps show up anywhere. I'm pretty it has started as the thread at the Vogue AUS forums is fairly long at this point.

Yeah, Erika got fired because she participated on some singing show on a rival network.

I can't honestly say that I agree. It isn't even that difficult to beat out half of those losers, but the fact that she's still below a few of them says a lot.

Her proportions are all wrong and her face isn't that beautiful (not enough to overlook the former as evidenced by her booking less jobs than Alex at Fashion Week). She has little talent but attitude to spare.

If she manages to score some credible work in the long run, I'll take it back but something tells me AusNTM is going to be the series alternating between success stories (S1, S3) and 'where are they now' tales (S2, S4).
