Pretty much all of Ludicolo's appeal comes from its comedic appearance and the fact that the weird disco afro guy from Collosseum had a whole team of them. This is why I love Ludicolo. I actually downloaded the theme music from that Afro Guy's battle with the dancing Ludis! rofl Is it wrong that I think dustox is pretty? |

Salamance is love. Except most Dragons get weighted down by Flying and everyone has an ice move up their sleeves. Wingull hate. A seagull. Yay. =/ |

Hey Pokefreaks. Here's a Sapphire question for you:
I just started playing Sapphire again (the previous time I tried I abandoned it before the second gym due to exams, lol), and damn I have already been thinking about what team to bring till the end. And I haven't even visited the Rustboro Gym yet. As of now I have these pegged as part of my final team: * Blaziken * Ludicolo * Gardevoir I plan to get an Altaria later as well, plus a Heracross. I just realised though that with Heracross there would be a duplication of elemental types (Blaziken's Fighting). What would be a good team (6+ Pokemon, a few of them being potential substitutes) to bring to the end? |

Sableye is awesome due to it's no weaknesses, and has immunity to Fighting, Normal and Psychic attacks... all three of which are gyms encountered after
Sableye can be caught
Seviper is just plain cool Walrein can take care of the Dragon trainer, and is good against the Ice Elite 4 member with either Rock Tomb or Iron Tail (Ice does 1/8 damage to Walrein) Kyogre just for that legendary touch |

35. Deoxys (Psychic) Of the 202 Pokemon in the RSE games, I can say that I've legitimately gained 201. Deoxys is the only outlier of those 202, because it's much like Mew and Celebi and Jirachi in the fact that it is an event-only Pokemon. In other words, if you don't live in Japan, or you don't particularly care to drive to New York City or Los Angeles to get a Pokemon, Deoxys is out of your reach. However, I feel Deoxys is extremely cool in concept, having an Attack, a Defense, and a Speed form that can change depending on certain circumstances. It makes Deoxys a formidible opponent.
34. Zigzagoon (Normal) First and foremost, I absolutely love raccoons. Raccoons are the best animal of all time, and my main fursona is a raccoon pirate girl. Zigzagoon being a raccoon certainly boosts it in my eyes. And Zigzagoon has one trait that sets him above all other early-game Normal-types. You can catch Zigzagoon early in the game and as long as you keep it in your party, you can consistently gain Super Potions, Ultra Balls, Nuggets, and even Rare Candies. That ability is invaluable early in the game, and makes picking up a Zigzagoon a no-brainer.
33. Poochyena (Dark) Honestly, I felt the Houndour/Houndoom duo in GSC was useful, but they just didn't feel right. A dog is supposed to be man's best friend, not some hellbeast. Growlithe/Arcanine got that right, and so did Poochyena. Weak as hell and useless in RSE, at least Poochyena was able to pull-off the appeal of being a dog. And with the change in attacks in DP, Poochyena becomes much more useful. It makes me wonder though. Dark attacks are usually tackles and bites, yet they're special attacks, which sucks because most Dark Pokemon have low special attack. Meanwhile, Ghost attacks are supernatural, yet they're considered physical attacks. That always bugged me.
32. Metagross (Steel/Psychic) Yeah, I know. First I left Salamence low-ish on my list, and now I'm leaving the OTHER semi-legendary third form in RSE low-ish on my list. Metagross' problem is the same as many others. It just comes so late in the game, and when it does show up, it starts up as a level 5 with next to nothing in terms of attacks. While Steel/Psychic is a very powerful combination, Metagross just doesn't work for me. It was in my secondary team, but only because of how rare of a typing it is.
31. Spinda (Normal) I'd gotta say that I like the fact that you can play through the game many many times and not see a Spinda that looks the same as any other Spinda. It's the only Pokemon in the game to have different designs among the same species of Pokemon, aside from the differences between males and females. It's also a pretty decent combatant and it's just so adorable how it learns Dizzy Punch and Teeter Dance. Spinda is just adorable enough to make it to number 31. |

Spinda is one of the most mysterious Pokemon ever. Why does it look like a Pikachu on crack? WHY??! Psssh. Getting a Deoxys is too easy. "Can someone make me a Deoxys?" 2 minutes later: "Online. Nao." |

I got Deoxys in Leaf Green...
(Okay my friend got it for me but still.) BTW, I have to ask right now I restarted Leaf Green and just beat Erika. Right now my party looks something like this: Charizard (Lv. 37) - Knows Fire, Flying, Ground & Steel Attacks Butterfree (Lv. 35) - Knows Psychic Attacks Victreebel (Lv. 34) - Knows Poison & Grass Attacks Raichu (Lv. 34) - Knows Electric Attacks Gyarados (Lv. 34) - Knows Dark, Water & Dragon Attacks Hitmonlee (Lv. 34) - Knows Fighting & Rock Attacks However I was thinking in picking up an Ice Pokemon (Articuno) but that would mean I would have to ditch Hitmonlee (since really Fight & Rock attacks are pretty useless now) but I am not entirely sure would that benefit my party? It would help out when battling Lance but then again I have Gyarados' Dragon Attacks. |

I like bears/bunnies. I hoping for Teddiursa to make the list but for some reason I think he was in Gold/Silver... You had better gave him a high placing!!! |

I'd defo take the ice type, Yema! (If you don't wanna use 'ubers/legendaries', Lapras would be good for an ice type. It's part water too
though I think.)
