I like your deck and your furniture. I don't have a green thumb so I can't help out there but I'd plant some pretty flowers in pots and put them on
the deck. yw!
BTW, is your dog jacked up on Mtn Dew? |

I suggested the poplar or cotton wood because they grow tall and slim.....I didn't recommend Aspens (like Quacking aspens) because they send out feeder roots that create new trees. The neighbors might not like it. Meh. Who cares about the neighbors. Aspens sound pretty when it's windy. |

for TC.
the neighbors to my left with the hot tub/bath
the neighbors directly behind me
the neighbors to my right with all the trees
these pics were taken by me. just now. notice NO ONE is around? Everyone in Toronto leaves the city for Muskoga cottage country on Friday afternoons. |

I hate hate hate huge houses with postage stamp size yards. Unfortunately, it's becoming all to common in Canadian cities. And one does NOT have a hot tub
when every single neighbor can see them.

the adults never use the hot tub. They bath their kids in it.
WEEMS I THINK I AM ALLERGIC TO ALL THOSE TREES! |

Jesus. How tall are those fences? I'm claustrophobic just looking at the pictures & my yard is way smaller than those are. I see ya have them but maybe
you don't really understand the purpose of gates.
On the flip side I'd LOVE to see a Cops chase through those back yards.

Canada is a big conty. Why is everything scrunched like Calif. I live in NH a small state and don't see anythiing like that.

the exact kind of developments Loki lives in, with small yards. Then again most of the new home buyers seem to be childless shut-ins, so who needs yards? Too
condo-ish for me.

Do those houses have windows on the sides? Because I'm thinking that you could actually borrow sugar or eggs or something by leaning out the window and
tapping on your neighbors window. If you have a window.

Those pics are uber-depressing. Loki, you need to move.

The houses look to be a nice size. What kind of square footage are we talking?

New projects in Toronto are prevented from having side windows. Fire bylaws sucked the fun out of design.

Weems is an idiot. Those trees look ridiculous in that "yard".

Someone better not play with matches, otherwise the whole neighbourhood will go up in flames.

Childless cripple shut ins or childless mental shut ins?
What kind of clothes do shut ins wear? |

Great size for a single person but the people raising kids in those small homes must go out of their minds. So much space is wasted in stairs it will make it seem pretty cramped... er... cozy. ETA: That is a rough estimate assuming the sliding door in the back is 6ft.

So I'm not a good judge of square footage. That's why I asked.

jees. who cares about my backyard. I live right on the shores of Lake Ontario in a conservation area. since i've lived here i've seen foxes, numerous
deer, raccoons, and we have horses that live just at the top of my street.
