Bleeding! Star! actually looked pretty chill about her injury. So, I'm cautiously optimistic that she'll be ok. |

I totally love Preston! and his owner cracks me up. Almost crying when he talked about Star's injury <3

Wait a minute, isn't a dog supposed to walk in heel on the owner's left? And if so, why didn't one of the dog-experts ding Bella Starlet's
mom about Bella heeling on the right?
I'm sorry, but Elan and Kenji could have benefited from staying and getting the chance to learn to work together better. But, I knew they were
gonna keep Bella and her crazy-ass mom for the drama that head case (and her surprisingly cool little dog) would provide.

I figured Elan and Kenji were done during the 30 second recap from last week. I could just...sniff it in the editing

Those 3 judges ,
suck. This could be a good show, but the 3 judges make it suck |

I thought the best part of tonight's ep was when Victoria Stillwell kept "AHHing" the giant schnauzer's owner....I couldn't stop
laughing. The other female judge was pretty bitchy towards Bella Starlet's owner too, but can't say I blame her...the woman was going a little psycho
there.
I knew Star was going to be okay, after seeing the preview for this week, because in the general promos for the show you see Star performing tasks in clips from future episodes. I really like that dog, she has a very intelligent, kind, and focus expression on at all times, totally bonded with her owner, it's really nice to see. I still like all the dogs, but I think Bella Starlet and Beacon will be out soon, and Leroy and Elvis not far behind.....border collie and JRT are two breeds that could really excel at competitions, but they also required very clear and consistant training, due to their high energy levels, and I just don't think they've received that from their owners. |

^ I agree about Beacon and Bella Starlet out soon and Elvis but Leroy? He seems like one of the most trained dogs and I think he and Theresa could be there a
while.
That being said I am so glad that Kenji/Elon went home. Yeah, Bela's owner is a nutcase but the dog performed the tasks well. Kenji's wild and Elon was way too harsh on her. Again, I want to steal Andrew from his owner and adopt him and snuggle with him til the end of time. It's the combo of the dog's groomed look + his amazing name that gets me everytime. I want him now! As of now, I am rooting for Andrew, Preston, Presley and Star who are the combos of I like the dog AND I like the owner. |

I'm really proud of Presley on tonight's episode. That is one well trained boxer. He's almost a clone of mine. The head too heavy to keep up all
the time. The way he sniffed the food while Travis was saying "leave it". Everything.
Here is my guy.
Here he is after he drank half an alcoholic beverage before someone spotted him. He became loopy, chasing his tail at hypersonic speeds, then pulled some garbage from a bag to build a nest to pass out in.
Here he was as a pup finding a weird place to sleep. He's found some weird ones.

Those pictures are great! I agree with 54321blastoff on favorite dogs: Star, Presley, Preston and Andrew... Star and Bill FTW! When Elan was grabbing Kenji's muzzle hard and the dog whimpered, I wanted to grab her by the muzzle and scream "AH!" in her face. It appears Elan didn't learn anything because in her exit confessional she "AH'ed" that poor dog one last time. Ugh. |

drawrein wrote: Oh YES! Stillwell's interrupting whenever Elan spoke was so enjoyable. We were sniggering. Gawd, was I mistaken when I said I thought that Elan and
Kenji had a real good rapport after last week's show. Duh. But then, they weren't featured much either. That woman has some horrible habits and she
wants to start a business around dogs? Oy. The other female judge just cracks us up - we like imitating her deep voice for shits 'n giggles. Hey.
Don't judge.

Kenji needed to go because the dog AND the owner sucked, but Bella Starlet isn't far behind. Beth Joy is just too fucking crazy, and I don't think
this is the show where crazy is that much of a free ride. Agree that Beacon, Elvis, and Leroy are on thin ice. BC's are probably the most intelligent
dogs out there, but I see Theresa getting called out on her mildly abusive tone with her training sometime soon. Tillman might be a shocking early boot.
Right now it looks like Preston, Presley, and Galaxy are going to do quite well on the show...
Plus Travis is getting a great edit - JD not so much. I wonder if we're supposed to like the dogs, the owners, or the team overall? |

Andrew, Edward - oops! I just remembered that it was a funny name for a dog. But I LOVE Andrew and his owner! He is just so fricking cute, it kills me!
Still love Preston and Star, too. I hated to see the older guy so upset when Star got injured. You can tell what a great connection they have.
I still won't admit to anyone in real life that I watch this show, but I really love it! |

Boxer's are my most favorite breed. We had one when I was a kid but he was so hyper. The minute the door open out he went and you couldn't catch him
until he was ready to be caught.

What is the music that plays during the elimination? it sounds very similar to some movie theme and it's killing me I can't place it.

I want to marry Travis and adopt Presley (although I'm not sure if I'm using the man to get to the dog or vice versa).
I don't get the Andrew love. His owner clearly knows what she is doing, but I think Andrew really lacks personality/cuteness. He's just okay to me, while others are delicious. Beacon should have been in the bottom over Elvis. Despite the old man's confusing hand signals, Elvis stepped up and performed flawlessly. Beacon wasn't heeling, and her owner was yanking her on the leash, despite being warned last week about physically forcing behavior... The whole clothing issue for Bella Starlet struck me as unfair. They cast a crazy bitch whom they knew liked to dress her dog up. They NEVER indicated clothing wouldn't be appropriate. Then, they HARSHED on her in judging for something she had no reason to know would be contrary to what they would like. Yeah, she should have been bottom three, but for the heeling, not the dress... |

diemarissadie wrote: When Travis was crying a bit and talking about if something were to happen to Presley, I almost went. I do a bit of baby talk to my pup, but more buddy talk. Yeah, he's a handsome devil, and the best chick magnet ever invented. Kid and guy magnet as well. Even though they have a fighting, athletic look, they have a friendliness that people pick up on instantly. Presley was impressive in the food task. My guy was taught "leave it" early because you couldn't set a plate down without his nose going for it. Travis should get extra credit for how well he has this goofy breed trained. Some breeds are built to take commands, boxers are comedians and goofoffs. And anyone notice they have Presley leaping at the end of the beginning intro and he becomes part of the logo? Love it. Even though I'm biased, I still love Preston, Tillman, and Star. Dogs are dogs and I dig them all.

I love that Presley is as well-trained as he is without losing any of his natural puppy exuberance and personality. I don't like it when dogs are so
"trained" that they basically have become robots...
