I don't know what the national statistics are for this job, but there are a few in my area of butt fuck country.
It's people whose sole job is to hold a 'store sale' sign. You know....."X Store is having a 50% sale on beds....blah...blah" or
something along that ilk.
They stand out on some corner in the sun, wind and rain, and hold this sign up for the entire day.
Most of them are fat. One sign was being held up by a fat couple. I mean it's bad enough when one person has this kind of job, but if you need your
girlfriend or boyfriend to help you out, then I dunno.....

X! There was a dude (I asusme) dancing in a bunny suit (no, not at strip club) at some store near my work. He was really enthusiastic. Didn't make me go in...but enjoyed the dancing rabbit. Eury might not have. |

Apparently it can cost between 35 to 45 bucks an hour to

When my nephew was 15 he spend every day of the summer dressed like a cell phone and jumping up and down on the street corner. The fact that he was 15 and had
no skills and no work permit actually makes this the absolute opposite of pathetic.

$20/ hour to hold a sign + bene's is pretty fucking good. I'd do that for $20 / hour.
I still say the most pathetic job is shoe store clerk. I worked at a shoe store during college, so I know. What's more pathetic than being the person who get's down on one knee to measure a person's nasty, sweaty, fat foot...for minimum wage? That's right. Nothing. |

I disagree... it's workout swinging that heavy sign around and most of them seem fit around here. And if they're just standing there they arnt doing
their job. I like when you wave at them in the car and they wave back like they see you or something. And I LOVE when they're smiling! :) Yes that's a
job and they do make pretty good money, it's hard work... I am sure most of you just sit on your lazy asses all day at work IF you even work. I have
thought about doing this job, but then I thought... well A. I am not strong enough B. Cars cant see me since I am so short. C. I don't want skin cancer D.
I dont want to die from heat or whatever.
