Posts: 3570 (07/17/08 10:43 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I mean you can really just do process of elimination to figure out who the mole is During Bobby's execution he thought Paul was the mole b/c of the Apple thing. . .he was eliminated. Its safe to say that he answered Paul during his questions. During Kristen's execution episode (in the missed clips episode) we saw Kristen suspected Clay and she was executed. Even in her confessionals she was saying she's going with her choice. If we eliminate Bobby's guess and Kristen's guesses as Moles we are left with Nicole - Mark - Craig. Last night's episode Alex was accusing Nicole of being the mole and even wrote it down in his journal so either A.) He missed the most questions about Nicole since only 4 people were competiting on the test or B.) He put Nicole all the way through and he was wrong. Mark had a great chance of sabatouging the mission the other night. A.) He didn't have to help with the questions B.) He didn't have to stay on the treadmill so long. We can pretty much rule Mark out. The Mole is probably: Craig With a possibility of: Nicole Slim Chance: Mark

And they knew that if he were to stop running, it'd definitely be sabotage. Mark's human though. He doesn't want to have to run all day. So when Craig and Nicole are too stupid to answer questions, he helps them out to speed things up. He looks like the hero, knowing that the very next challenge if worth almost the same amount of money, only it's much easier to fail.

I think its stupid and it sucks when that happens, but editing usually sweeps that under the rug.

I do know Bill did add $100,000 when he didn't have to. But I view a one-time gift as wholy separate than a season-long shower of riches.

Posts: 57 (07/17/08 6:46 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	In the first mission in Episode 6, this is what's shown on one of the cards A few moments later it shows this Note how it changes from 'questions mark' to 'question mark' I can see this being some lame ass clue pointing to Mark, since there clues always blow. like we are suppossed to be questioning mark. Your thread has been merged as this is speculation/analysis of the clues. However, when offered to GAIN that much money for not taking the exemption, they gave the money back and won the group 30,000? I understand its subjective, just saying, there have been "bad moles." I love how in UK Mole 2, every sabotage they showed in the aftermath show didn't really cause the group to lose money, just almost did. It'd be like if Mark was the mole and a sabotage was... -Taking lots of gold up the mountain to slow the group down (which they won).

Posts: 995 (07/17/08 9:23 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	The more I think about it, the more it seems plausible that Mark's behaviour was, albeit counter-intuitively, mole-ish in this episode. Here's another take on the treadmill task: 1. Craig or Nicole or both, are suspicious of Mark being the Mole. 2. As a result they deliberately take a long time to answer relatively easy questions, or deliberately answer them wrong, to see what Mark will do. Will he pretend to get tired and quit the treadmill? Will he step in to answer or correct the questions when it's obvious that Craig and Nicole are having difficulty or deliberately taking a long time? Does Mark feel that he's being tested in this way and so he feels compelled to answer the questions? All in all, being on the treadmill is the worst position for the Mole to be in especially if he's athletic like Mark. He can't easily pretend to get tired, and he can't feign utter ignorance when it comes to easy brain teasers. So it could be that the producers told him to be a hero in the challenge, or he realised that his sabotage would be too obvious and thus decided to play the hero. Also, I think it's still really telling that he chose the lowest score for the bungee-diving contest. The minute he knew that others would be given the possibility at exemption, he should have known that that all or most would jump. So his argument "so and so won't jump" is unconvincing. * On another subject, I've decided it's just as much fun to produce support for your long-standing Mole pick (despite mounting evidence against it), as it is to approach each episode objectively and open-minded in an attempt to determine who the Mole actually is Last Edited By: Goosehead 07/17/08 9:26 PM. I felt like he was doing all the work in answering the questions. And that's probably because he knew all the answers already. If you notice as each contestant gets their visual (with their name, age, profession, home), there are light green circles that instantly flash next to each person's name and home. They just seem to have a continuous story which will seemingly culminate with a final confrontation at the end, whether it be mole/winner or loser, or winner/loser.
