The additions of Hurt and Olyphant make up for the absence of Ted Danson.
I'm feeling much more optimistic about this season than I was a few weeks ago. It sounds like it could be just as good as season 1. I just wish we didn't have to wait until January 2009. |

Well maybe by then, Time Warner DFW will get its shit together and offer FX in HD. I won't hold my breath.

Hooray for Glenn Close's Emmy nomination for Lead Actress!!! The show was also nominated for Best Drama and one other actor was nominated in a supporting role...not sure who that is. |

Danson and Ivanek were both nominated for Supporting Actor. Unfortunately they will probably split the vote. I expect Michael Emerson to win this category.
Rose Byrne was snubbed, which is too bad because I think she is really underrated on this show. |
