"I don't care who goes next, just go. If you want me to go, I'll go. I'll be standing here against the bars, so go ahead whenever you want." Or something to that effect...

Alex wasn't trying to antagonize people, he was shifting all the potential blame onto the other players.

Alex thinks he is funny and clever. FAIL.
http://abc.go.com/primetime/themole/index?pn=index Under the video screen, click extras and hit the right arrow until you reach the deleted Alex "confessional". He goes on this horribly fake rant, and I can't tell if he thinks he is a good actor or if he wants the viewer to be in on his funny joke. Regardless, it is appaling. |

Alex is the mole. Let's talk about clues.
Episode 1: Jon refers to the dinner as the Last Supper. If you look at Leonardo DaVinci's painting, Judas is seated three to the left of Jesus (in the painting, Judas is the black man--or at least man of color--with his arm on the table). At that dinner, if you use Jon as Jesus, Alex was in the seat of Judas. Judas was a betrayer, a la the Mole. Religious imagery abounds this season as they are in Latin America. Episode 2: When Liz is executed, she says "The Mole got me." Cue a picture of her... Alex is in the foreground and his face is seen. Episode 3 or 4 (can't remember): The column/building shown right before the quiz has a door and a light which are shaded. Since an orange light is poured on the building, it makes the letter "A." Couple this with his sabotages: picking up the sign on the beach, doing horribly at the slingshot, placing two apples at the luge challenge, giving up his journal so that all others would be burned, and missing a question. Add to this his mole-like behavior: the editing where he talks to Victoria and she says "you better not be the mole;" trying to go near to the end at the Jail challenge (he can't go last and take the exemption--too obvious--so he lets Mark go last, hoping he'll desperately take the exemption); acting as though he'll do the challenge in which he dresses as a Conquistador (because it doesn't matter-- they've already agreed to fail the mission). The answer is simple: Alex is the mole. I never guess the Mole correctly and even I see it this time.

I was an overconfident idiot. I admit it. I would have been executed a long time ago.
Someone posted that the mole was executed in a European version of the show and then came back somehow, so I'm holding out on the slim chance that may still happen here but not counting on it. This mole is doing a better job than the first two (non-celebrity ones) did. |

Stoked Up wrote: That was OZ Mole 4. What happened there won't happen here. During the game somoene was executed and then the group was asked if they wanted to bring
him back. If they voted 'no' they would lose some of the prize money, if 'yes' they would get money. By like 4-3 he was brought back. Notice it
was the GROUP'S decision. Later again another player was executed and then SHE was asked if she wanted to come back and if she did they would lose prize
money. She accepted it and it turned out she was the Mole. The obvious difference was that the Mole was in control of her coming back not hte group. Almost no
time had passed before both were brought back (before the next mission) so neither missed anything at all.
