SOD is reporting that Raya Meddine (Sabrina) has definitely been let go. SOD says the actress was shocked at her dismissal. An unnamed source is quoted as saying that Eric Braeden was very unhappy with the speed of the relationship between Victor and Sabrina but he has come around to accepting the relationship. The source said no one was really sure why the actress was let go. The source said that TPTB are panicky about the sinking ratings. Sabrina was a newbie who was on 24/7 at a time when the ratings were falling so they decided she was a liability to the show. It was obvious her character was disliked and that viewers hated the relationship between Victor and Sabrina and so they decided to axe her.

In regard to Vincent Irizarry, he has known for some time that he would be let go. But he was hoping that circumstances would change and he would be able to stay with the show.

The source said that the firings of RM and VI does not mean that Nikki and Victor will reconcile, at least not immediately. David and Sabrina will not die at the same time. Sabrina dies as a result of a car crash after the charity ball. David's death is later on and related to another incident. Their will be tremendous fall out from their deaths that will have far reaching ramifications.

Next week Paul discovers that David's real name is Angelo Serafino and tells Nikki. She tells Paul to back off but then confronts David. He tries to explain it away but Nikki does not buy his explanation and tells him it is over. Paul then finds out that Walter is wanted by the FBI for racketeering and murder and has mob connections. Paul suspects that David is involved with Walter and the mob and tries to prove a connection. Paul also sees a picture of Walter and Ji Min with David in the background. Meanwhile a desperate David decides to take action against Nikki. He spikes her ginger ale with liquid morphine at the party.Head writer Maria Arena Bell says that David is definitely in love with Nikki. And he does want to stop gambling and build a life with Nikki. Which is why he tells Walter that he is through with working with him. And according to MAB David does not drug Nikki's drink because he wants to kill her or hurt but rather as a desperate attempt to hold on to her after Nikki tells him it is definitely over between them. David drugs Nikki because he plans on taking her away with him because he cannot bear the thought of losing her.

After Nikki finds out from Paul that David's real name is Angelo Serafini she confronts David. According to MAB David realizes his web of deceit is unraveling so he does what he has never done before with Nikki and tells her the truth. David tells Nikki about his past, growing up in a neighborhood where people into trouble. David reinvented himself to pull himself out of that life style. David tells Nikki that he kept his past from her was because he wanted to forget all about it. MAB says that as devastated as Nikki is by David's deception there is a small part of Nikki that can emphatize with David's desire to make something of himself. MAB says that Nikki's life also started out very different from where she has ended up and Nikki, like David, wanted to build a new life for herself. But MAB says that Nikki has played the understanding wife for weeks and she has grown tired of the role. Nikki decides to end her marriage rather than continue to trust a man who has lied to her for so long. She tells David it is definitely over between them and tells him to pack his bags and leave. David is shocked. David thought that since he was finally truthful with Nikki she would stay with him. Bell says what complicates the situation are David's genuine feelings of love for Nikki. According to Bell David has come to care for Nikki and desperately wants to build a life with her.

Nikki promises to keep up appearances with David until after the charity ball and agrees to David's request to ride to the party together. David is desperate to hold on to Nikki and as part of his plan calls an old friend to score a drug he plans to use on Nikki. Meanwhile Walter is spying on the couple. The next night Daivd proceeds with his plan to drug Nikki but his first attempt fails.

MAB cautions that appearances can be deceiving and viewers should not assume David is a bad guy. "There is going to be a big, stunning twist out of all this," MAB is quoted as saying, "there is a powerful story that is about to emerge in these next few episodes that is a direct result of Nikki and David's relationship.......for Nikki, there is no question that this relationship will change her life .....the choices that she's made over the last few months, in this marriage........the ramifications of these decisions will be felt by her forever!"

David drugs Nikki at the party and when she starts feeling wobbly he takes her out to the waiting limousine. Walter has messed with the limousine brakes. Meanwhile after something shocking is revealed about Sabrina she leaves the party. When the brakes on the limousine fail the limo careens into Sabrina's car and she later dies in the hospital. Nikki and David are injured in the crash.
