Just watched. I've adopted an 11 year old Brittney from my grandparents. I gotta love Star.
I'm surprised how much some of the dogs/owners suck though. I'd have thought all the dogs would have no problems with the basics. That Giant Schnauzer isn't even what I would call well socialized. I've got a season pass, so we'll see. |

I love Tillman too, but he's really only got that one note (the skateboarding trick). If they have to do agility or anything like that, he might get
eliminated.

I don't think it's been posted yet, but for the record, this ended up being a big ratings
hit for CBS - so it looks like we might actually get to see the full season on TV (rather than them burning off the season online after airing only 2
episodes!):
"CBS got a paw up on its competition with the debut of "Greatest American Dog" helping the network to a midsummer ratings victory. The new competition was the sixth-most popular show on prime-time television last week, with 9.5 million viewers, Nielsen Media Research reported Tuesday. There was no measurement of canine interest." |

Not for me. I mean, the visuals are cute, but man, the theme music for this show sucks. I missed the beginning last week so I hadn't heard it. Geez, why didn't they use "Who let the dogs out?" like they did on the preseason promos, or "Atomic Dog?" Just something, ya know, actually, cool. 'Cause the poochies (and my ears) damn sure deserved a better opening tune than that piece of dreck.
