Yikes. Wouldn't Tony be biting off more than he can chew if he starts with three teams? IMO, he'd be better to start with two and then add the third
once the first two are in place and contending or at least showing solid results. OTOH, IF this rumor is true, it further shows that Teresa is running DEI
straight into the ground. She'd better have a good amount of money, investments, etc. available to her because if she keeps up what she's been doing,
she's going to need something to live on.

I think he could probably pull it out, because his name brings in big $$$ and good employees, and he'd have 3 decent drivers. Plus, I don't see Tony
driving for that much longer - maybe 5 years tops.

I know but then again the sponsors seem to be throwing themselves at his head so why not take their money?

I think Newman will go because Matt Borland is over at Haas. Plus - if the money is there and they do it right, this could end up being a decent team.

Wow. that would be a hugely ballsy move. I think Stewart could pull it off though.
And unless Truex is really stupid, he better make the jump. DEI is gonna flounder. There is not doubt about that. And I don't think Teresa gives two shits either. She'll just live off the money she makes hocking Sr's name and merchandise. and she'll be just fine. BITCH. |

I got 300 points on the nose...even with Edwards finishing 32nd. Damn. There's always ONE guy that fucks me over every single week.
Week off? Whaaat? Damn. IRL is in Mid-Ohio. Me thinks I'll be tuning in for that one. Undies, did you really click on everybodys name? Why didn't you just check the "Weekly Performance" link?

Truex/Newman/Stewart would make a hellofateam as stated in the thread Sponsers are lining up already.
Lobsters are starting to "catch " the top spots question is can any one take over daytona? 2 thru 10 are wide open we thinks. |

since some of the top drivers are almost maxed out with them.

I barely remember the end of the race, but Kyle is on a fucking tear! And Matthew would have had a chance at the end if he didn't have that damn tire
problem half way!!!

Newman, the defending Daytona 500 winner, is in the final year of his contract. "We want to thank Ryan for his hard work and contributions to Penske Racing over the past nine years," said team owner Roger Penske. "We wish Ryan all the best for the future and we'll continue to focus our efforts on making the Chase with Ryan and the Alltel Dodge team this season." The driver of the No. 12 Alltel Dodge Charger is in his ninth season competing for Penske. He is ranked 16th in the Cup Series standings through 19 races this season. "I appreciate Penske Racing and all they have done for me, but more importantly, I appreciate their friendship and what they have done for my career," said Ryan Newman. As a Kurt Busch fan...don't let the door hit ya on the way out Ryan. Now KB will get the best equipment every week. Newman's bitching has held down
Penske for a few years now.
Tony must have enticed Newman over with a bag of cheeseburgers. |

Best equipment at Penske is a dubious distinction at best.
