If I were to speculate I would say that Katee will get her knees cut out from under her very shortly into the Top 10. The producers have an agenda and they
spend the first half of the competition drilling into our brains the ideas we should have going into the Top 10 (when WE control the vote). It's obvious
that the producers want a male hip hop guy to win. Katee is gaining too much momentum. They praised her to the heavens when she was with Joshua... possibly
to attempt to help keep him out of the bottom 3 weekly. Now that she isn't stuck with one of the "chosen ones" she will be de-pimped quicker
than anyone. They won't be able to risk her popularity growing anymore than it has. She did her job in the first half... helping Josh to stay bottom 3
free. Her gravy train has ended.
We have already seen the start of the de-pimping for Mark and Twitch... which leads me to believe that the producers had to make a choice going into the top 10 as to who they would push for the most before they hand over the reigns. Joshua is without a doubt TCO with Will getting a Danny type edit. Will make it to the top 4 but makes way for Joshua because of Joshua's "personality".
Now mind you... I could care less about any of the dancers that I have speculated about... as a Courtney fan I could give two shits... so what I have seen and my opinions on the manipulation aspect of the show do not come from a biased perspective.
Just like on AI (as I have said many MANY times)... SYTYCD is no longer about who we as the public like... but who the producers like and what THEY think will make for the best show. Obviously they are morons to think that America LIKES to be spoon fed... but just like on AI they will only create backlash (which has begun) and turn viewers attention elsewhere.
As for "speculation" into the pairings this week...
Katee/Will (let the de-pimping of Katee begin... she isn't a "GOD" like Will)
Joshua/Courtney (she is a versitle enough dancer to make Joshua look good without taking his spotlight away)... ofcourse IMO she is far better than most give her credit for.
Twitch/Chelsie (The chosen girl, the only ballroom dancer that can make the guys look GOOD... though they won't want Twitch looking too good... so give them some Jazz and perhaps disco. they will save her ballroom routines for the real TO.)
Mark/Kherington (The de-pimping for them has already started and together they will be sent down the river next week with no life jacket)
Jessica/Gev (cannon foder... time to go! I see ballroom in their future!)
