We have no idea but rest assured, if there's an asian person, they will probably win.

I just looked around on the internet and found a post back in October that they finished production on the show and plan to air Solitary 3.0 sometime this
January.

It's definitely on hulu.com
They showed a marathon of 2.0 on Fox Reality tonight and the thing that baffles me is why the hell they cast John P. I mean, I guess because of the whole Survivor alumus thing, but then I ask myself how the hell he got cast for Survivor in the first place. Whenever he talks, and especially when it's anything remotely self-reflective, he makes no sense and sounds like a moron. Plus he yells things for no reason. And I could appreciate him if he was remotely funny or entertaining because of this shit, but he's not. It's just annoying, and I needed to rant about it. Thank god he didn't win. I love the show though and can't wait for it to start again. |

Strangely enough, I thought Palyok added a lot to that season. The way he identified # 7 as his real threat was I thought unexpectedly smart.
The guy got the short shrift on Survivor with the Flab Five alliance decimating his cause in what was the strangest Survivor season ever aired, at least in the pre-merge. He never got a chance to show his gameplay. In 2.0, what was weird was that no one rose to his bait, allowing # 8 to duke it out with his most worthy of his adversarsies: # 7. Palyok's ep with the hamster habitat was sheer genius though. I didn't expect that from him. But I guess no one in this game has a chance against low-body weight Asian males with the supernatural ability to annoy even Val. There. I said it. |

I liked Palyok on this too. I wish they would replay the first season so I can see that.

I thought John P. was awesome on this.

He was definitely a good character on 2.0, I was actually sad when he quit. But there were a lot of good characters. It's hard to root against anybody on
this show...They all go through hell!
So now we need #7 to come back and give us the scoop on 3.0. |

omg maybe the reason Louie has been MIA on the boards lately is because he was on solitary?!?!?!

J.P. was NOT awesome. He was just a familiar face that a lot of reality tv show fans felt compelled to root for. He wasn't all that.

I don't know that I'd call it JP love, but if you dissociate him from his Survivor tour and look at him in a void, he was a pretty interesting
character that season.
Anyhow, does anyone know if FRC's planning to announce the debut anytime soon? |

'SOLITARY V3.0' Will Introduce A Fresh Twist
December 4, 2008 Spending time in solitary…with someone else? It might sound like a contradiction, but that's just what's happening on "Solitary v3.0," premiering Saturday, January 17 at 9p/8c. The controversial hit reality competition pushes the boundaries with new twists and turns guaranteed to test the contestants' endurance to the brink of psychological and physical collapse. "Solitary v3.0" brings a huge, new twist, as blindfolded subjects are shocked to find that they will initially be sharing their small pod with another contestant. Will they be friend or foe? Subjects will only be reassigned to their own pods once a grueling challenge has been completed and they have earned the right to be there. As with the first two seasons, the premise of "Solitary v3.0" is simple: the last person to leave their "pod" -small, barren and completely isolated - wins bragging rights and $50,000. Along with performing grueling activities presented by their omnipresent digital taskmaster, Val, contestants also known as "subjects" have their names replaced by numbers. These nine individuals are subjected to sleep deprivation, extreme temperatures and other forms of environmental stress meant to "break" them, thus causing them to leave their pod and lose the competition. "We wanted to make sure that our contestants weren't getting too comfortable with the format after having watched the first two seasons of the show," said Andrew Golder, producer and co-creator of 'Solitary v3.0.' "Throwing complete strangers together in a pod adds a wild card into the equation, and also makes the sense of isolation even stronger once players are truly placed in solitary." |
