Actress Lynda Carter is coming clean about her battle with alcoholism and sex. In an interview with television's "The Insider," the star of the
'70s television classic "Wonder Woman" sought treatment for her alcoholism and sex 10 years ago in a facility near her Washington, D.C., home.
Carter told "The Insider" that she was good at hiding her addictions. "I begged God in heaven to help me figure this out," Carter told the
show. The actress said that she's been sober ever since treatment. Carter, 76, played Wonder Woman on television from 1975-1979. More recently, Carter has
appeared in the films "Super Troopers," "The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Sky High" -- where she played the head of a high school for
superheroes. The actress recently launched a traveling, one-woman cabaret show called "An Intimate Evening with Lynda Carter," which will tour
nationwide, said "The Insider."
