The Coyote/Road Runner cartoon I always remember was the one with the running gag about the bombs. It was the only one that really broke with the formula and
played with expectation. Wile E. released a shitload of little "smart" bombs early in the 'toon, but instead of going where they were supposed
to, they just scattered everywhere, so everytime he set up a new trap, either a bomb fucked it up, or it fucked up first and then he got blowed up to boot.
Hilarious.
