I haven't watched one ep this season (or last season and only 2 or 3 eps during the Brad season). I find this thread much more entertaining than the show could ever be and with your help have successfully eradicated any urges to watch this show for the last couple of seasons. I am free!! (And so is my DVR) Thanks for the providing laughs, guys. Those of you who suffered through the season have taken the bullet for me. Grazie!

(FORT) When the caps came out that Jesse and Jason were final 2, they decided that DeAnna would not take a single father to the final 2 and dump him so by default he was declared the winner even though there wasn't any proof except for some vague postings that people had heard from a "source" he was the final one. So they never bothered to look for the clues that would put Jesse as final 1 and those that dared to post in favor of Jesse were ignored and by mid season, had stopped posting cause of how vocal the pro Jason camp was. It was a great season for me over at the FORT cause of just the last week when the news broke that Jesse was indeed final one. We can only hope next season is as good! And that's why I keep watching this shitty show as I just love the crazies!!!

Why would DeAnna pick a snowboarder over Jason who is well grounded and let's use the word MATURE. Carboys Desire had it right with the post above. She's 26 and still wants to have fun. Let's jump over couches and do fist pumps. Yipee!!!! Brad had it right in turning her ass down. My biggest question is if Jesse does give up his snowboarding, what the hell is he going to do for a living? Work in a sportings good store? No offense to anyone who may have that occupation but the impression I got from her all along was that she is high maintenance. Pay attention to me or else! I do hope that Jeremy and Jesse find the loves of their lives. As for Jess and DeAnna. Here comes an avalanche! Ride it out dudes.

There was one pic of the back of one guy with his arms around Deana on a beach. Someone had screenshots of all the guys from behind and they were matching up the arm, muscles, wrist, hand of the mystery guy with these screenshots. That also was the last time I visited there. They take these faux romances too seriously. It's just a cheesey reality show.

Add in these intangibles: Jason is going bald, Jesse doesn't look like he is, Jason has a kid (no matter how many times DeAnna said it had nothing to do with the kid), and Jason lives in Seattle. And the biggest intangible of all -- DeAnna gets to p'o her dad by picking the carefree snowboarder (i.e., cold equivalent of a beach bum) over the responsible Jason. Do I sound jaded, cynical, and shallow? Yes, but as an observer of humans for decades, its my view that certain (but by no means all) American women will always choose the more "exciting", "intriguing", and "mysterious" man with the harder dick over the guy who can just give her a good life, no matter how much he loves her. Guys like Jason just don't provide enough "sizzle" for women like DeAnna. Plus, some people are always the rebel -- even if they are grown adults. Whether consciously or subconsciously, DeAnna enjoyed going against her dad's advice. Are there men like DeAnna too? Absolutely. Lots of them. Exhibit A is Andrew Firestone, who just married a model from Serbia who would light up any heterosexual male's eyes. That model is almost 100 percent sizzle. Will DeAnna and Jesse really get married? I didn't think Ryan and Trista would get married, so who knows? The good thing for Jason is that ABC must already have thousands of letters and e-mails from women interested in dating him. I sympathize with Jason; he was truly hurt. But has he ever watched this show? He gets to be humiliated over and over on National TV. It's a competitive dating Reality Show. If he didn't know what he was getting into, he should have.

The only thing he was not happy about was the show was edited to make it seem like as soon as he got on his knees, DeAnna told him to get up. He actually was down there proposing for a while before DeAnna finally made him get up. That's kind of mean of her but stupid of him to get down on his knees in the first place.
