Blech! I hate watermelon.
So far this summer I've seen: Prince Caspian, Iron Man, Indiana Jones, Kung Fu Panda, Wall E...I know there are a couple more, but I'm drawing a blank. We go to the drive-in a lot. I think we'll probably see Hancock sometime this week, just because it's playing with Hulk and I want to see that. Indy was okay, but the end was a bit much for me. Meh. It's pretty bad when the kids movies are getting to be more entertaining that the ones for adults. Oh, I saw The Ruins too. And Prom Night (how embarassing)! I had no desire to see Prom Night, but it was the first movie and I wanted to watch The Ruins, so we suffered through it. Gawd was Prom Night terrible. Really, really bad. |

cindi are you like a movie critic or something? whew - i just saw my cousin vinny. your popcorn bill must be the only thing keeping the economy humming. Lol, no! I live near a drive-in, so I see 2 movies for $7. Plus the popcorn and drinks are way less than regular movie theaters too. I hardly ever see movies in the winter, so I have to make up for it during the summer. |

Ok, I'm going crazy here. I had a dream that Josh Holloway, Daniel Dae Kim, Jorge Garcia and Evangeline Lilly showed up at my house. So I showed them my
LOST collection and talked about how much I love LOST. Then we went out to eat and played video games. Then their "agents" told them they had to go
to Charleston and I asked if I could tag along. What the . . . ? I'm not on drugs, I swear!

Did Josh have any nicknames for you?

If I had a dream about him, I'm pretty sure nudity would be involved.

I really liked the Prince Caspian movie....maybe even better then the original Narnia movie. I also liked The Indie movie just fine too. I know some people
didn't like the direction it took, but I was fine with that. Someone mentioned they didn't like Get Smart...or the Bruce and Lloyd DVD. I thought
that was rather brilliant marketing. I really like Steve Carrell (sp?)....so I liked Get Smart just fine. I probably won't go see the Batman movie. I
lost interest in that a couple of movies ago. Unless everybody here just raves about it<G>...then curiosity would get to me.
Hancock seems to be doing just fine....so some people must like it. My daughter is a Will Smith fan...and she really liked it. I liked it fine...but it just isn't what I consider to be Will's best work ever is all. |

Peggy, the last Batman movie and, from what I've heard the newest one too, are so much better than the last crop they put out with the revolving Batman.
Plus, Christian Bale is fine as hell!

I wanna see it, but I have a feeling I'll be creeped out by Heath Ledger's role. I've noticed the previews in theaters are focused more on
his character than Batman. Wtg, try to profit on an actor's death. Ugh.
Did Big Brother start yet? Can ya tell I rarely have my tv on much? |

You're lucky you have TV right now. We had a bad storm here last Friday and it knocked my power and cable out. The power came back on within an hour or so
and the cable has still yet to come back on. Stupid Time Warner Cable. They said it could be as late as Thursday before it's fixed. Grrrr.

Hey, y'all! Howzit going?
I've been dealing with the withdrawal symptoms by getting out and enjoying the summer so far. Also been watching The Mole and Jon Kelley is no Anderson Cooper, but this is still the best reality show out there. I just ordered the box set of John Adams, so I'll get into that once The Mole wraps up. By then it should be close to the start of college football season and that'll carry me through to almost Thanksgiving. After that, I'll start rewatching Lost from the the beginning, and hopefully, if I pace myself, I should wrap that up around the time season five kicks off. |
