Thanks L5! I didn't have a backup. While I didn't assume I wouldn't win it was an educated guess with the tremendous field of racers here.

I'm still a little bummed out that I didn't get to the end of this one because I enjoyed it a lot. And I really enjoyed racing as Tyra/Janice. And once again, congrats to max for helping to keep these damn Americans with their convenient timezones in their place. |

Kat and everyone else,
At long last is the final version of the banner. I am somewhat inclined to tweak the timing of the animation, but I've got to go to LA for a few days for work and won't be able to do anything in the near term. So, this will have to do. If I change anything, I'll post it. I must say, I didn't know what I was biting off on starting this. Between the time to resize all the pics, get them properly situated on the page, and then determine how the images flashed, it was A HELL OF A LOT OF WORK. It's the least I could do, considering the fun race Kat provided us, but I doubt VERY much I would do another banner like this. In any event, it would be an honor if Kat included this on your first post. Thanks again for a fun race. I hope there's a season 2 and that your concussion gets all better.

I love how many squatting Tyras there are in the banner. And also crying Isabella. I still think Isabella/Ignatius were the most tragic loss of the season.

I'm in two minds over how to go with TAR2: whether to have it compacted like ATTAR4, or to do it on weekends again. Either way, it's not a very long
season (right now it's standing, at most, at 8/9 legs. You'll see why). Speaking of TAR2...
"AMAZING RACE HOST/CONTESTANT EXPECTING SECOND CHILD!" With the end of Wan & Chung's Amazing Race 1 still in our wake, news came out today that Chung Fong is expecting her second child with new boyfriend, Edward Fascarde. The two announced their news at the wrap-up party last night; the second season of the duo's Amazing Race will go ahead as planned, however, with a "surprise replacement" taking Fong's place. Her co-host and best friend, Wan Quo, had this to say: "Thank fuck that bitch is knocked up, because I've got an ever bigger bitch to replace her. Only temporarily, of course, but trust me...you'll love my new host. He's really looking forward to it." |

Hmm, should we be expecting Wan teaming up with Christian Siriano then? If so, it's good to know that Tyra's legacy of saying 'fierce' way too
much will be kept alive in the second season.
