So Soakingitin isn't the judge of what's appropriate, but Eury is the judge of what's entertaining? I have to say, I've never before heard someone refer to Hitler as entertaining. Kind of downplays the whole 10 million dead unpleasantness, dontcha think? I'd say he was a very important historical figure, instrumental in shaping the events of the 20th century. But entertaining? To each their own, I suppose.

Seriously though, I don't see how it downplays anything that he accomplished within his lifetime. It strengthens it, if anything. How can you say he was not entertaining when people all over the world were talking about him in both a positive and negative manner? When he decided not to merely enslave people, but annihilate them? That takes balls. While, granted, he went to extremes... at the very least it made for entertainment.

How is he not entertaining when people were watching his every move?

I agree that he was influential, but what I am describing is entertaining. Influential is how he was able to muster the power to kill Jews and other degenerates. Entertaining is people sitting back and watching the show unfold. Hanging on to his every word. Waiting to see what would happen next. Talking about him at the watercooler.
