I thought Sara was better than Steve - not that that is saying a lot. I thought this was a painful episode to watch. I think they need better celebrities and
contestants. Was having a problem with the guy who didn't give Paris as a clue for France.

dude did say "paris". but when that clue was missed, he didn't followup with "capital". maybe he didn't know...

I HATED when the celebs instead of giving a different clue for the password, they'd just repeat the same clue louder. It was also like everyone just said
"fuck the clock". I was amazed at the number of passes this episode too. There were more passes tonight than on the entire run of Passwords since
1960.

and here's a fun fact about the paris/france thing...
this is the flag of france: and here is the flag of paris: see the difference? they had to rip out all of the white cloth from the flag of paris so they would have something to wave at anyone threatening them. too funny... |

Enjoyment in watching this show is contingent, apparently, on a good combo of celebs/contestants that are actually semi good if not great at the game b/c
when you have 2 clunkers and crappy contestants to boot, the show kind of sucks.
I loved how the audience laughed at the stupidity of the dumbness and dumb ass clues on tonight's show. The producers were better off not airing this episode.X That was amazing..the way they laughed at Sara several times. |

bullshit.
bobby was great. hell, when he first hooked up with that pretty aa woman they got like the first four of five on the first clue. then the passwords got tough. and then the passwords got tougher. don't hate the players. hate the game... |

No. He said "Europe" and Steve guessed "Paris". Then he started in with the croissants. The contestant never gave Paris as a clue. |

So is anyone watching this? The stars (and I'm using that term loosely), Monique Coleman and Damien Fahey, and the first two contestants are
ridiculously bad. That guy was just lucky to get $25,000. Some of the passwords he had were so easy yet he was giving the dumbest clues.

Yeah this episode is painful.
Contestant: Color Monique: Blue Contestant: Stop Monique: Yellow Contestant: SIGNAL Contestant: ohhh.... GREEN!!!! |

Yeah, the "celebs" are weak. At least Monique Coleman was ok, Damien was horrid.
I hate how Regis always addresses black guys with "My Man". Everywhere. But I'll give him a small break in that he is almost 80 and trying to stay "hip". |

I think this week was slightly better than last week. Still not good though. Anyone know when the next episode is? I see they're looking for contestants
on their website but I know Big Brother starts next Sunday.

Aren't they usually allowed to see the upcoming passwords for the 100k round in the end? I personally thought the words in the 2nd show in that round were
exceptionally difficult and had he seen them beforehand I doubt he would have went on.
I missed the 1st show but caught the second and it was a million times better than last week. The contestants/stars weren't the best ever but they held their own for the most part and at least were able to get enough words correctly to keep the show moving along. I love how the show kept acting like that black contestant wanted Monique. To me, it seemed the other way around. She kept eyeing him. |

The audience clapping is definitely annoying, but the most annoying is when Regis will blurt out a few words in the middle of the game.... "one more to tie the game", "you have to get this all right, no more passess", "3 more seconds and you have to listen to the clues carefully before you run out of time and.... **BUZZ**!!!!". STFU already! |

I must confess, I thought it was Raven Simone at first. >.>
I hate it when the celebs say pass. Fuck off! You will take the clue and you will like it! Let the contestant say pass only. There were several examples of when the celeb goes 'pass' but the guy is one clue away from getting it and instead the contestant hears pass and gives up. I'm glad the handsome guy cracked down on that bullshit and started giving another clue when she said pass. Also, I am about ready to call it a day on the celebs thing. The track record for celebs has been bad this year. I'd say the best 2 celebs have still been Neil Patrick Harris and Rosie O'Donnell. The last 4 celebs have been absolutely abysmal. I think they would actually have better TV with good password players on both sides. If they keep celebs, they should try to expand to famous authors or politicians who would be naturally good with words, I would enjoy seeing Steven King or George Pataki or something. And please no more MTV VJ's! Unless it's Kennedy. She would kick ass on Password I bet. |
