Just a quick note before I go: I see someone has updated the Micronesia Fanfic Wikipedia site for Episode 9 already, and made sites for Fiji and All-Stars now on there. I've seen a few different people contributing to these on the history page, so thank you so much to everyone for all of your hard work. Those pages look amazing and extremely realistic! :)

That was me, gf! Unfortuantely, it seems the All-Stars and Fiji pages will be deleted, unless I can convince the Wikipedia people otherwise. Strange how they don't want to delete the other fanfics.

I'll comment later, but fantastic episode!

Usually I would probably say an episode like this was way too predictable, and yet I really enjoyed it a lot despite knowing what would inevitably happen. A lot of the scenes were really entertaining, like the post TC scene, Aras' group being clueless about what was going on.

One of the comments someone made at TC (around when Aras talked about winning immunity) kind of gives me a feeling that Aras is going to go on a long immunity streak for some reason. This whole season is actually sort of constructed in a way to favor a guy making a long immunity run to, with so few guys left, and Mikey being a more out of shape guy. I think Aras may be around for a while even if he keeps on voting in the minority every single tribal council.

Brooke - CPP(?)3

1. Brooke (She was too CPish, but she's gotten a very good cooldown before the merge, the only thing that worries me is that her edit looks almost too perfect)

Awesome. I loved the underdog alliance pulling it together. And Aras really emerged as a cocky asshole. I was surprised at the level of stupidity among Aras, Ian, Alexis, and Mary, actually thinking Brooke/Sherea would stick with them.

• • I liked this episode. It was very Amazon-esque in that we knew who (Aras) was being voted out the whole episode but we didn't care becuase we wanted him to go. He did win immunity, but we still knew either Ian, Mary, or Alexis would go.
  • I'm glad that those six got together.
  • Aras is an idiot for targeting Sherea, there was no good reason too.
  • Tracy's edit was so weak for the merge! I really thought it was going to be a CPP episode for her. I was expecting this to be the episode where she surpassed Brooke on my winners list, but she did the opposite (she went down to third). I really think this is Brooke's game. Tracy still has hope though.
    
  • Aras was a villian this episode, but it will be interesting to see if he remains the villain since he is no longer in power. Maybe he will be bitter and remain to be the villain. Immunity seems to be the only way to save him at this point.
  • I'm assuming there will be some crack in the six alliance but I'm not sure where it will come from. I was looking for the foreshadowing but none stood out. I'm thinking Mikey's quote about being in it only for himself would cause him to flip, but I can't see how he can do that without the other 5 and I don't see any of them flipping. Maybe those six will ride to the final 6, but I can't see that happening.

I'm glad you enjoyed the episode, and I agree that it was fairly predictable that Aras would win Immunity and one of his alliance would go home. I also agree that he didn't have a good enough reason to try to target Sherea. Tracy just wasn't that involved in what was going on at the merge. Yes, she was a part of the six alliance but as far as the larger story, she wasn't majorly involved this week. It was mostly Brooke and Eliza that were involved in the main strategizing for that group. I think this is going to be similar to my Panama fanfic where Aras had some negatives and positives depending on what his position is, and we've already seen that happen in the first nine episodes, so we'll see if it continues. You could be onto something about Mikey's quote...
  

• I loved the immunity challenge when Eliza was talking and Brooke was acting as if she was against the Airai 3. That was funny (Eliza smirked).

  Glad you noticed this - another example of Brooke's "deception" or "lying" (however you want to describe it).

Brooke - CP3 (Again!)

I honestly thought she would get a CPN this episode for her betrayal of Ian. There's been at least two times where I would have given her negatives and she's managed to get neutrals for both of them. Most likely, I will end up putting down CP3.


Very good Contenders / Eliminated lists! Those four definitely look like strong candidates based on what we've seen so far...
