AJ Pierzynski was GeneOkerlund27's favo Twin before he was traded to San Fran, and GeneOkerlund27 does not hate AJ =o
he was involved in GeneOkerlund27's favorite Twins defensive play ever, which was in Boston It was 2001 and Doug Mientkiewicz was at first. There was one out and a runner at third and it was the sixth inning with the Twins holding onto a 1 run lead. Some player for Boston hits a pop fly down the foul line. Mientkiewicz runs so is back is completely to AJ and dives and makes the catch. Then he fires to home and the player from third rams into AJ who holds onto the ball, does a backward somersault, throws the ball down and yells FUCK YEAH at the top of his lungs for a 3-2 double play yw! |

I am still like a kid at Christmas. As George Costanza would say, "Jerry, I'm bustin'!" (Stated after he became a hand model...) This is a
great day for the Brew Crew.

The Brew Crew looked like Harvey's Wallbangers with 12 x-tra base hits today...9 motherfucking doubles.

Props to the Brewers for keeping Sabathia away from the pitching desperate Sillies.
And I am less than impressed with the NL's #2 run scoring team and #1 bullpen in the majors. Mets starting pitching went over 20+ innings and gave up about 10 hits and only 5 ERs (3 one one swing). As the Mets lead the NL in LOB, that's the only reason the games were even close. |

I'm even less impressed with the the bloated payroll 3rd place Mets.

But said bloated team beat the invincible powerhouse Sillies 6 out of 9 games this year.
What does that make the Sillies? ssts |

I think only my patented statistical research can solve this argument.
Philadelphia 48-41 .539 New York 44-44 .500 By my count, the Mets are 3.5 games behind the Phillies. This indicated the Phillies are in first place. |

Cape Cod man attacks Yankees fan
Article Last Updated: 07/07/2008 07:08:18 AM EDT
Authorities say 20-year-old Robert Correia is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Falmouth District Court on charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and malicious destruction to a motor vehicle. Police say Saturday night's alleged incident occurred when Correia and others spotted a car with New York license plates leaving Falmouth's fireworks display. The group accused the man, whose children were in the car, of being a Yankees fan, then beat him and vandalized his car. The man, whose name was not released, was treated at Falmouth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his head and body. The incident is under investigation and others may be charged.
