I haven't watched Samantha Who, but I still love Jean Smart from her Martha Logan days.
Jane Krakowski or Elizabeth Perkins pretty much need to win though. I love Jane Krakowski so much I go downstairs to the Burger King to poop.

I am SO pissed about no Alyson Hanigan. Maybe the Academy couldn't decide between her and Cobie Smulders and they cancelled each other out?
Interesting to see both Conchata Ferrell and Holland Taylor in the mix. Both are terrific in very different roles. I'd love to see Holland Taylor win. Proof of how badly My Name is Earl has cratered? Jamie Pressley, last year's winner in this category, isn't even in the top ten. |

Kristen Wiig was robbed. Her stuff is so good though that I guess it'd be hard to narrow it down to one episode or sketch.

Oh, I adored Kristen as Dr. Pat. I knew she had talent way back then.

Becki, Judith, and Vanessa are all incredible on Ugly Betty. Too bad for Becki
Yay for Kristen! Olive is one of my fave characters on Pushing Daisies. |

Like Judith Light and I am obsessed with Vanessa Williams as Wilhelmina in UB, but Becki Newton as Amanda was truly robbed. She's easily the funniest
character and this was her best season yet. Hoping for a Jane Krakowski win.

The fact that How I Met Your Mother wasn't nominated for anything makes me really question the whole awards show.

If you haven't questioned the Emmys' existence, you haven't been paying attention over the years. They blow.
Still, Josh Radnor and NPH are on these lists. No way Radnor gets a nom, but NPH I bet wins. I'm still massively pissed about Alyson Hannigan's absence. She is absolutely the funniest woman on TV right now. I will say I'm impressed by the way the Academy is releasing these lists, though. Perhaps this signals the Emmys getting serious about selecting winners that make everyone go WTF? |

I guess I never really paid any attention to the Emmy's throughout the years. I just looked at the list and saw no HIMYM and I was shocked when I can only
think of 2 or 3 network comedies on right now that are even on the same level as HIMYM.

Wow. I don't watch any of those shows except for Family Guy. Haven't really cared about the Emmys since Buffy ended.
