Agree with both you but that's pretty much asking the impossible. If parents are tub of lards and they don't care, that means they sure as hell won't buy healthy foods and prepare seperate healthy meals for the kids. It's just like parents who smoke. You never see them going outside every 10 minutes for a smoke, they'll do it inside and the kids just have to pay for it.

In an ideal world, these parents would think about how they were treated and were limited physically when they were their kids age. Not to mention the impending health concerns. I just figure that these parents would want to protect their kids and would make an effort to encourage them to not go through the same thing.

Lawd knows they don't want their kids to be active and not obese... they can't risk having kids that are ashamed or embarassed of them waddling to pick them up at school, being the top customers at the fast food strip, and busting the tires on those motorized sit and ride supermarket carts.
