2 bbq's on Friday - wife's drinking at the first one, I'm driving all of us to the second one. We'll be staying at the second bbq and sleeping
there, so there will be inverted keg stands, beer pong, and lasso golf.
The the retarded Virginia legal fireworks, unlss the cops at the party bring some of the confiscated illegals. |

I dread it. Hanging at a country club with conservative WASPS...adult WASPS. I'm being forced against my will, as usual. But, the food is good...lots of hooch, too. |

So I got my 4th of July avatar, courtesy of the best avatar maker, Nice to Animals, so I thought I would post in this thread with it.
4th of July same for us every year. Town parade. My husband will be helping to re enact the battle of Concord dressed as a red coat (they always lose for some reason). Youngest son will be marching with the Sons of Norway (don't ask). Concert in the park with patriotic music. Medicate the dogs with benadryl before joining the neighborhood "See who can set off the loudest firework without the police showing up" contest. |

Ok, so I've now got plans besides working!
Me and the bf are driving down the shore on the night of the 4th. Hopefully we'll get there in time for like 11 o'clock-ish fireworks. Then we'll spend all of the next day at the shore doing shore things! Yay! |

I'm blowing out of work early tomorrow and going to our neighbor's house for a pre-4th of July pool party. I helped him assemble a tiki bar for his
backyard as a bit of a kitchy goof and he's all about the neighborhood parties now.
Friday we're going to a friend's house for their annual 4th of July party (their house is along the town parade route) and will watch the fireworks from there. Saturday, we're leaving for Maine for the week. Try not to miss me too much. |

As for me I will have my nieces,nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews(yes, I said great-great LOL) over for baby-back BBQ ribs, chopped BBQ, BBQ
chicken,hamburgers, hot dogs, macoroni and shrimp salad, corn on the cob, and cucumber salad on a bed of lettuce with baby tomatos and Welches grape juice with
lemon. We will be celebrating the holiday plus it will be a going away party because I will be leaving for my vacation to Arizona next week and hopefully when
I get there it won't be that hot in Arizona as it is today.

The weather looks really bad. We reserved a table in the clubhouse of the racetrack a couple of months ago, but I don't even want to go, especially if
