Twich is talented. He's a fantastic soloist and he rocked Mia's routine. That was mostly him.

Comfort is my favourite on the show but her solos have sucked.
For a hip hop dancer, she isn't exactly showing a wide variety of moves up on the stage. Can she even breakdance? |

I'm with you, E Moch. Nigel's been much more manipulative this year. It also seems like he's really been trying to be more of a
"personality" (getting jealous of the attention Simon gets most likely). Well, there's only so far he can jam Will down America's throats.
As soon as it comes to an audience vote he's toast.
I'm not really a Jessica fan at all, but the grief she catches is way disproportionate to her suckiness. In lieu of saying anything to will, or offering general criticism of the pair (which could be construed, God forbid, as criticism of the chosen one) they pound her relentlessly. For that reason and no other I hope she sticks around awhile. Well, I'm also kind of smitten with that rack. |

And why has it taken so long for people to get that the perma-grin is how mormons are TRAINED to dance? Kherington's Mormon? Now, I know that Twitch has not danced hip-hop yet... Didn't he just do hip hop last week? That shitty prisonbreak routine? Could Nigel have made it any more obvious who was going home? Courtney and Gev get named B3. Nigel says "It doesn't mean they're leaving." Mat and Kourtni get named B3. Nigel says "Yeah, you guys suck." Confort and Thayne get named B3 and we get "I don't know why you're even in the bottom, you were great last night!" Hmmm....I wonder who they'll send home... And that group routine was absolutely horrid. And why the fuck did Nigel have Robert come on the show? Just so he could try to embarrass him on national television? |

While I think Gev is pretty lousy in all his routines, I thought his solo last night was fantastic. We know he can do that really really well. Impressive.
Courtney on the other hand...maybe I should rewatch because I didn't think it was all that amazing.

For clarity... for all those that didn't think that Courtney's solo was "all that"... I think the fact that she came out to do her solo with
such conviction (like we haven't seen this season) is what people loved. You could just tell that she was putting it all out there and was fighting for
her life. It has seemed as though everyone else this season who has performed a solo did so as though they were already defeated. They were lackluster and
didn't grab people the way a great solo should.
Just FYI |

Totally agree. Girl brought an energy and fight that was great to see, |

What we have learned so far:
Specifically: I didn't think it was possible, but Thayne doing West Side Story made both look gayer. "I Want to Break Free" by Freddy Mercury and Queen That New York routine was WAY over the top cheesy. "Little Courtney and Gev" actually do better with the "all growed up" sexy routines. (They look right together - very Mediterranean.) I liked how Gev staged his solo. He worked the whole stage, had authority, and had the perfect button by flipping to where Cat would stand with him. How he ended the solo reminded me of how Benji would always find different and interesting ways to end his routines. Courtney choreographed her solo better than the other contemporary girls. It fit the music better and she danced it strong. Robert is SO much better than Nigel's pissy ass. They still haven't fixed all the production problems that have already been mentioned here. Craptastic director, IMO.

I agree too, I thought Courtney was great. Her and Gev are sorta my fave couple now. Gev's solo is the only one since the beginning of the season where I
was actually like "wow, he actually wants to stay". Maybe because all these contemporary dances are boring and blend together.
Anyhow, the only thing that will be of any interest next week is whether they decide to send Jessica or Comfort home. If be some act of God (/the judges licking his ass) Will/Jessica are safe, Comfort is definitely gone, and then it won't be interesting at all. Yawn. Wake me up in two weeks when this is fun again. |

I haven't watched the results show, but I had to show my weekly love to Katee/Joshua and Chelsie/Mark.
Katee was fabulous in that Mia Michaels number. Twitchington's bed number. I want to marry Mark's hair. |

I didn't think it was possible, but Thayne doing West Side Story made both look gayer.Thank God I am not the only one that blinked hard and laughed at that! It was almost gaer than gae. What I am hoping for is Troll and Thayne to get the heave-ho next week so Comfort and Gev can pair up. Otherwise I hope one of those 2 go next week. And why are people assuming Josh is gae? I am curious because I don't see it at all. |

I was a big Matt and Kourtni fan so I'm bummed to see them go. I don't think Kourtni brings enough emotional maturity yet to really connect (with
everything, with the audience, with Matt, with some of the dances). She is amazing, though. I really liked her solo -- her style seems to be a lot more angsty.
While I think they did great at the freakish comic book dance, I think both of them would have nailed a Mia Michaels routine.
Eh, oh well. |

Even though I think Thayne should definitely go next, it would be kind of fun if by some miracle he and Comfort avoided the bottom 3 next week and the judges
were forced to get rid of - well, all the other guys are damned good so that would suck.
How hillarious would it be if, in the top 10, Will is the first guy out but Jessica stays. Or has Nigel already funded private dialing parties with help from the Debbie Allen Institue to make sure that doesn't happen? |

mikeonfilm wrote: Someone mentioned that, and it WOULD be hilarious! And SA...Josh is lisping up a storm. Maybe it's the braces, but I think he's another queen. Yeah yeah, I know "ZOMG not all male dancers are
gay!!!1!" but most of these guys are probably hooking up with each other and the male choreographers when the cameras aren't rolling.

I actually don't mind Gev as much as many. I think he is pocket sexy at times, and has a real commitment at times. He DOES have the unfortunate tendency
to go invisible in the memory, but I think his solo kinda fized that for at least a week.
THAYNE, on the other hand, is just too much. I would vote out annoying over forgettable, myself. I know many want the glorious disasters over the nonentities, but I am not one of them. |

Can we switch out for Thayne for Matt? I couldn't deal with all the camera mugging Thayne would do.
