In a quiet chat in the Living Area earlier, Stuart and Luke dropped a bombshell: yes, they actually LIKE Rex. The chef has been one of the most bitched-about housemates in recent weeks, but if he goes tonight it seems a few people in the House will miss him. "I've just found Rex hilarious the last two days," announced Stuart controversially. "That's because he's changed," nodded Luke. "He's come out all guns blazing!" said Stuart, smiling at the thought. "I said to him last night, he's just been funny. Because he's not cared, he's just proper ripped into everyone. It's been unbelievably funny." "I like Rex," agreed Luke. What?! Since when? "I understand why people don't, but I do like him. But don't get me wrong," he added hastily, "tonight I'd rather see Rex go." Stuart nodded in agreement, but seemed to be looking forward to the eviction either way. "Arguments and stuff -- I don't think they'll happen next week. No matter who goes, it'll be more of one group again I think." An hour later in the Luxury Bedroom, Stuart stepped his pro-Rex campaign up a notch. "There was no need for Rex to insult me..." Jennifer said plaintively to no one in particular. "Why, what did he say?" asked Stuart, lying on his bed. "Something about my personality or something... that I didn't have one basically." There was a crashing silence from the other housemates. A giggly Rebecca piped up, "He said to Rachel, 'If you were up, you'd go'." As Jennifer wandered into the loo Stuart said boldly, "I think he's been hilarious, me, for the last two days." Lisa broke off from painting her nails to agree with him. "He's just being funny. He doesn't mean it, it's his sense of humour." "People just don't know how to take it," said Stuart. "He's well funny." So Rex is forming a fan club... do they know something we don't? Could it be more obvious they're doing this in case he stays tonight? And if I hear Luke say "conspiwacy" one more time, I will fly to the UK and personally kill him.

And watching the same person asleep at 4am is nothing entertaining at all, what is up with that feed, and on cable tv?? I wish I would have seen the spitting in the face fiasco, sounds like it was major drama. edited to comment on Darnell's bio: Darnell is a 26 year-old housemate who was born in Ipswich, raised in St Louis (USA) and now lives in London. He was deported to the UK after getting involved with gang culture in the States and now focuses much of his time in mentoring community youth groups in North London. Darnell was born albino. Now THAT is what they should be doing with our criminal types, especially foreign gang members. It shouldn't matter if you were raised here in Canada or not.. screw up and deported you go!!
