True, but you must admit this is a strange case.

s/he says that the penis grew naturally from her/his clitoris when s/he started taking hormones. How it is fully functional is anybody's guess.

Winnie Cooper calls himself a man despite having a vagina with a little peen growing. Oh and the birth was natural. Updates on page one, first post.

Who else is dying to see the peen? I've seen pictures of surgically constructed peens, but never one in person.

I don't even want to see it. I'm already creeped out by this story.

It's kinda gross that he/she/it can't keep a shirt on. Nasty scars, too.

This isn't the 17th century. Genders don't depend on what organs you have or don't, but on brain chemistry. No, this is the 21st century. Gender depends on anatomy. Orientation depends on brain chemistry. Wishing you are a man does not make you a man. Especially since you also seem to want to be a mother. |

Encyclopædia Britannica notes that gender identity is "an individual's self-conception as being male or female, as distinguished from actual
biological sex."
He says and identified and self-concieves himself as a man, so he's a man. So yes, wishing you're a man does make you a man. |

Yes, but she doesn't want to be a man. She wants to be a man, and a woman, as evidenced by changing into a man and then forcing herself to get pregnant
anyway. You can't just switch back and forth between genders whenever you feel like it.

wtf. pregnancy isn't the defining feature of "being a woman". i wish i could give birth too and would do it if there's some easier option
available, but that doens't make me a woman.

pregnancy isn't the defining feature of "being a woman"Sure it is. Let's make a list of all the men in history who have given birth: 1. This guy. I can't think of any more. |

If it has a birth canal and a uterus and ovaries, it's a woman. If it also has a surgically constructed penis, it's a woman with a surgically constructed penis.X It's prolly not even psychologically healthy to jump back-n-forth between genders as the whim occurs. If he/she retained the vagina with the expectaion of one day giving birth, then she should have remained female until after doing so, and then got the surgery. has a fully functioning penisThe definition of "fully functioning" does not include the ability to produce viable sperm, then? Coz it seems it should, and I kinda think 'he' ain't doin' that.

Softaco: "Sure it is" (re: pregnancy being the defining feature of a woman).
Katja: "Produce viable sperm" (re: definition of a penis). Infertile people, children and the elderly roll their eyes @ you both |

Infertile people, children and the elderly roll their eyes @ you bothYay marbles? *cries* Infertile men often still have the ability to ejaculate, children have the potential, and many elderly men still do have the ability (even if not as reliably as they once did) and those that don't may no longer be considered "fully functioning"...? Even if he/she does experience an erection (and that's entirely possible if the penis was created from the clitoris), it still seems unlikely that it could be described as "fully functioning" - unless fully functioning just means the ability to urinate and become erect. It's not connected to fully functioning testes... |
